Hitman World of Assassination: The Season of Luck Road Map
IO Interactive has unveiled the latest Hitman World of Assassination Road Map, signifying a new chapter titled The Season of Luck. Spanning from January 13 to March 31, 2025, this season introduces an array of exciting events and missions, all wrapped in a dazzling golden dragon theme that complements a special mission set in the Chongqing map, offering players exclusive Chinese Dragon-themed rewards.
This season revitalizes returning events from past seasons, allowing players to enjoy fresh content along with the collectibles they’ve secured through various DLCs and special events. Among the highlights are new unlockable items and specially crafted contracts themed around Valentine’s Day.
The Lee Hong Derivation Event
Take Out The Triad

One of the standout features is the return of the Lee Hong Derivation Escalation, set in Chongqing and inspired by the End of an Era Mission. This mission harkens back to the traditional gameplay of the franchise, specifically referencing The Lee Hong Assassination from Codename 47. Players will navigate through sniper-friendly rooftops, where strategic planning is essential to succeed.
The escalation unfolds through multiple stages, each increasing in difficulty. Should the player fail, they must restart from the beginning. Successful completion yields enticing rewards, including The Black Dragon outfit, the Golden Dragon Sniper rifle, and the exclusive Chinese briefcase. Notably, these rewards, previously restricted to the Deluxe edition, will be accessible for free to base game owners from January 30 to February 27.
Returning Elusive Targets
The Heart Breaker

The Season of Luck also features the return of elusive targets. First up is The Heart Breaker, the codename for Philo Newcombe, a wedding planner with a sinister track record. He targets brides or grooms-to-be, eliminating their partners out of obsession.
Players can track Newcombe via the arcade currently, but he will reappear as a standalone target from February 14 to 23, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. Pro tip: Divert the engaged couple to a safe distance to exploit his obsessive behavior.
The Broker

Another elusive target is The Broker, an antiquities collector named Howard Moxon, who has links to terrorist organizations. This mission unfolds in Paris, where Moxon plots to steal the Ivory White from the Voltaire Suite safe.
Similar to other elusive targets, Moxon is currently available in the arcade and will return for his standalone mission from February 14 to 23. Players should keep an eye out for his smoking break near a courtyard statue—but do beware of nearby security!
The Fixer

The Fixer, otherwise known as Xander Haverfoek, is an elusive target based in the Marrakesh map. He is notorious for being particularly challenging, as he doubles as the target’s smuggler, tasked with transporting a bag of diamonds.
Haverfoek’s stand-alone mission is set for February 28 to March 9, offering an exclusive opportunity for players who previously missed him, as he hasn’t appeared in arcade format.
The Collector

Kody Haynes, codename The Collector, is an art enthusiast with murderous tendencies, annihilating past owners of his artwork. Players will face him in Dartmoor, where Haynes is after a specific painting located in Alexa’s office.
The Collector, previously featured in the arcade, will make a standalone comeback from March 7 to 16. He possesses a unique ability to disguise himself, making observational skills paramount for players.
The Forger

Sergei Larin, known as The Forger, specializes in replacing authentic art with replicas. Hired by his wife, whose gallery has suffered from these deceptions, Larin operates primarily within the museum director’s office in Paris.
The Forger’s standalone mission will be available from March 14 to 23. Players might want to don the Sheikh disguise to navigate effectively through the setting.
Year 4 Galore
Elusive Target Reruns

For players who may have missed previous elusive targets, IO Interactive is offering reruns for missed opportunities. These reruns will be organized into two groups, allowing for significant catch-up.
The first batch, available from January 17 to February 2, features targets like The Serial Killer and The Gunrunner. The second batch, from January 24 to February 9, includes The Entertainer and The Sensation.

Engagement with the Twitch community rewards Hitman enthusiasts this season. Players linking their IO accounts to Twitch can earn special in-game drops by watching participating streamers. The event runs from January 21 to January 30, 2025, requiring players to accumulate one hour of viewing time.
Exciting items available include the Purple Streak Suit, Purple Streak Duck, Purple Baseball Bat, and Purple Streak Briefcase, allowing Agent 47 to channel the iconic Twitch color scheme, making for a daring ensemble in a profession steeped in danger.
New Items: Maneki-Hitman and Sky-High Voltage
Unlock A Little Bit of Chaos

Fans of whimsical weaponry will be excited to know that a Proximity Lucky Cat Figurine will be available on January 30 as part of the upcoming Maneki-Hitman event, although details about this event remain under wraps.
Following this, on February 27, the Sky-High Voltage event will commence, offering players a chance to obtain an RFID-triggered taser, unlocked by completing two electrical kills with the objective to “Spark a discussion with two targets.” This could enhance gameplay significantly in accident kill missions.
