Unlocking the Dessert Boat Machine
Locating Pompompurin
To find the Dessert Boat Machine, head to the west side of Gemstone Mountain. Look for the Oasis Mailbox, which unlocks a fast travel point near the machine. While the machine is situated at the rear counter, you won’t be able to use it until you strengthen your friendship with Pompompurin.
To initiate the quest “Dessert-ed Boat“, you must achieve level 4 friendship with Pompompurin. This quest involves collecting x6 Fizzy Ore from the Gemstone Mine to restore the machine. The only way to obtain Fizzy Ore is by utilizing the minecarts traveling within the mines. Ensure you gather the ore as the carts pass by it.
In the vicinity of the Icy Peak Entrance Mailbox, you’ll discover a minecart switch. Leap from the cliff and proceed through the entrance surrounded by large pink/purple crystals.
Once you’ve gathered the ore, return to Pompompurin, only to realize they actually require Fizzy Crystal instead of Fizzy Ore. To obtain the crafting plans for Fizzy Crystal, consult Chococat. You’ll need x6 Fizzy Ore to craft x1 Fizzy Crystal. With this item, you can then repair the Dessert Machine, unlocking the capability to produce ice cream, pudding, and shakes.
