Complete Guide to Crafting Recipe Locations in Lost Soul Aside

Complete Guide to Crafting Recipe Locations in Lost Soul Aside

Lost Soul Aside provides a minimalistic experience when it comes to traditional RPG mechanics, leaning more into action gameplay with some RPG elements. One of the key facets of gameplay is the crafting system, which allows players to utilize ingredients collected by the character Kazer throughout various stages for the creation of potent potions.

To craft new potions, players must acquire new recipes. While obtaining these recipes can be straightforward, there’s a catch: if you don’t secure them quickly, you might miss out. This is largely due to the game’s linear design, coupled with a lack of opportunities to farm for gold. Without sufficient funds when new recipes become available, players will find themselves needing to revisit earlier stages later on.

Although stage selection becomes accessible upon completing the game once, players must still go through entire levels to gather their loot.

Comprehensive Guide to Crafting Recipe Locations in Lost Soul Aside

All crafting recipes in the game can be sourced from Claudian, the bookkeeper situated in the Imperial Capital. With every new chapter, his inventory updates with fresh recipes, but these can come at a high price, especially if players have not been diligent in collecting chests and materials while progressing through the stages.

Despite my thorough exploration, I found myself consistently short of gold to purchase every new item available in each chapter, necessitating the sale of potions and materials to afford the updates. Therefore, if you find yourself lacking the gold required to purchase all crafting recipes in Lost Soul Aside, completing the game will unlock the Stage Selection feature. However, be prepared to replay stages for gold accumulation.

Aside from the classic Potion, the rest of the items available are either found during stages or crafted from various materials. In my experience, the Neutralizer potion stands out as particularly useful, especially against elemental adversaries. Similarly, the Valor Potion serves its purpose well for increasing damage output, whereas the Rejuvenation Potion is essential when other healing methods are exhausted. Though reportedly the most effective, the Divine Boon potion is limited to one per use and requires a significant investment to craft.
