Tracing its roots led them to Kentucky, where they discovered the CIA had collaborated with Russian scientists to engineer a biochemical weapon capable of modifying human behavior.

To delve deeper into this mystery, the team heads to an abandoned Kentucky facility, which, while manageable, presents challenges that can be quite puzzling.

In this walkthrough, we will guide you through the completion of the Black Ops 6 mission, Emergence.

Objectives of the “Emergence”Campaign Mission in Black Ops 6

The mission “Emergence” in Black Ops 6 consists of three main objectives, though it can get a bit intricate as you’ll soon see:

• Gain access to the Advanced Technologies and Applications facility.
• Locate the Four Director Key Cards.
• Use the elevator to enter the Biotechnology room.

Navigating to the Biotech Entrance

When you commence the mission Emergence, you will join Case (your character) and Marshall as they discover that the facility is saturated with toxic fumes. Don your gas masks and make your way toward the Biotech room. However, if you miss a significant jump, you’ll plummet to the bottom, breaking your mask and succumbing to the toxic gas, which induces hallucinations.

Your first task is to approach a red-lit door; unfortunately, it will remain locked, prompting you to search for a tool. Head back and take a right, where you will spot an axe on the ground. Pick it up and disregard the hallucinations for now, as they can’t inflict damage (yet).

Use the axe to break down the door and turn right down the hallway. Proceed and take a left through the opening, then ascend the stairs on your right. Continue forward until you encounter a locked elevator that requires contacting security for access.

Retrace your steps, and you will soon see some mannequins transforming into zombies. Use the axe to eliminate them. Move forward until you reach a circular desk and answer the ringing phone.

The phone call informs you that you need four Director’s cards from the following facilities: Cognitive Research Facility (Red), A.C.R. (Yellow), Administration (Green), and Joint Projects (Blue). A map will now be provided, directing you to the A.C.R. facility (Yellow).

Obtaining the Yellow Director’s Card from A.C.R.

Turn left from the Security Console and proceed forward. You should see a large sign labeled “West Wing.”Move ahead and locate a yellow staircase on your left. Ascend and continue onward until you reach the Director’s office.

Interact with the desk computer, which presents a simple puzzle to solve; the correct responses are “Access“and “Lift.”Once you succeed at the A.C.R., prepare to confront some zombies. Utilize your axe to deal with them. After dispatching the zombies, the camera will pan to reveal a mannequin clutching the Yellow card. Do not approach it just yet.

Search the room thoroughly for weapons, armor plates, and other gear. When you’re ready, head towards the table beside the mannequin holding the keycard where you’ll discover a Grappling Hook.

Upon picking it up, expect an ambush from an Abomination Zombie. Press the Tactical Equipment button (‘Q’ on PC) to dodge its attack. Now, focus on eliminating the Abomination along with the zombies it spawns.

A quick tactic is to rush to the far end of the room where you can find C4 explosives and turrets. Set them up for an easier fight. After you defeat the Abomination, collect your first keycard for the mission Emergence: the Yellow Card.

Now it’s time to exit the room. Head to the center and look upward for fixtures where you can utilize your Grappling Hook to escape. Ascend until you reach the main facility again.

You can undertake the collection of the other cards in any sequence. As a starting point, let’s go after the Red card next.

Collecting the Red Director’s Card from the Cognitive Research Facility

Return to the Security Console at the center, then make your way to the East Wing. Follow the trail of red carpets and climb the stairs. Use the Tactical Map for easier navigation to reach a room with a console enclosed behind glass. You’ll notice a Mangler submerged underwater.

Interact with the console so the camera focuses on the Mangler, revealing the Red Card. Step back slightly, look up, and utilize the Grappling Hook to reach the upper railings.

Jump into the pool to find a red tunnel underwater located behind the Mangler. Swim through to the far side, then climb the ladders on your left. Turn right and pass through the doorway, eliminating the zombies that await inside.

To your right, you will find a locked door. Use the Backlight to unlock it. Note that the code will vary for each player. Once you gain entry, turn back and head to the opposite room to interact with another console, triggering a 25-second timer to activate all drain switches.

The first switch is within the same room as the console, the second switch is in the room you just unlocked, and for the third switch, go to the ladders and look to the far end, where you can grapple up to find it. Once the pool is drained, make your return through the tunnel.

The Mangler will have escaped its confines. Approach the damaged glass cage, and the Mangler will assault you. Utilize your Grappling Hook to make a swift escape. Engage in combat with the Mangler along with the horde of zombies that have spawned. Once it’s defeated, collect the Red Card.

Return the way you came, now fending off a horde of zombies that resemble Frank Woods. Clear them out and navigate back to the central Security desk.

Collecting the Green Director’s Card from the Administration Facility

While facing the elevator, look up to your left for a grappling point that will elevate you to the Administration Wing. Answer the ringing phone and proceed deeper. Here, you must gather four documents and deposit them in a file holder located near the glass room.

The first document can be found on a small table in the center of the room, right next to the notice board. The second document is located on a desk in the upper left corner. The third document is in the café area near the sink on the other side of the room. Finally, the fourth document is situated by the round table on the left side of the room.

Remember, the mannequins will closely follow you if you’re facing away from them, so try to keep your distance as much as possible. Once gathered, place the documents in the file holder near the glass room, and a red mannequin will attack. It’s untouchable, so every time you approach, it will evade you.

Use your Grappling Hook to trap it. After several attempts, the mannequin will shatter, transforming into a Mangler. Defeat it to obtain the Green Card. Once you’re finished, return to the balcony where you initially grappled to enter the Administration Wing.

Obtaining the Blue Director’s Card from Joint Projects Facility

Once back on the balcony, spot a grappling point directly opposite you that leads to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the phone ringing there. Now, turn back, head left, and proceed to the room with the glass walls.

Within this room, locate the camera stands positioned around the glass chamber where the Blue Card is concealed. Upon interacting with it, a Mimic will spawn. Eliminate the Mimic, and if it vanishes, shoot any objects in motion around the room to unveil its zombie form again. Defeat it and claim the Blue Card from its remains.

Gaining Access to the Biotechnology Room

Now you enter the mission’s concluding segment. Return to the Security desk and input all four cards into the system. The elevator will then open. Approach it, ensuring you take out the zombies pursuing you. After reaching the top, your screen will darken, leaving you only able to see a red phone.

Answer the phone to initiate a cinematic scene that transports you to the Biotechnology room. Here, you’ll face a Disciple along with a massive horde of zombies. Defeat them all. Once the Disciple is defeated, you will witness a cutscene showcasing your character being overrun by zombies. However, you soon awaken to find Marshall and Sev bringing you back to reality.
