UPDATE: An interactive map has been added to this guide, making it easier to find all the stable locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The expansive world of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers adventurers a rich landscape to explore. Traveling on horseback provides a significantly faster means of getting around compared to walking. Fortunately, various stables are conveniently scattered across the realm, although they can be tricky to locate without a complete map.
For those eager to complete the Lucky Clover Gazette quests, visiting each stable is a requirement. Additionally, stables serve as key hubs for players, facilitating the buying and selling of items, cooking delicious meals, and resting to rejuvenate for future adventures.
Discovering Stable Locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Many of the stables in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are situated in familiar spots from the prior installment, Breath of the Wild, yet with notable changes. If you’re having trouble identifying their locations, refer to the interactive map provided below:
In total, Hyrule features 16 different stables, which include:
- Snowfield Stable: Located in Tabantha Tundra, Hebra, at the northwest corner of the map.
- New Serenne Stable: Found in the North Hyrule Plain, nestled between Lookout Landing and Hebra.
- Tabantha Bridge Stable: Situated near Tabantha Great Bridge, lying between Hyrule Ridge and Tabantha Frontier in the western area.
- Woodland Stable: Positioned to the northeast of Lookout Landing, along the border with Eldin.
- Wetland Stable: East of Lookout Landing, bordering Lanayru.
- Riverside Stable: Located south of Lookout Landing, along the Necluda border.
- Outskirt Stable: Found southwest of Lookout Landing, near the Coliseum Ruins.
- Mini-Stable: Placed southwest of Outskirt Stable, this replaces the Gerudo Canyon stable until a related Side Adventure is completed (there is another mini-stable at Lookout Landing tied to a side quest).
- Gerudo Canyon Stable: At the entrance to Gerudo Desert; unlock by completing the Side Adventure in the Well.
- Dueling Peaks Stable: On the eastern side of Dueling Peaks in West Necluda.
- Foothill Stable: To the east of Woodland Stable, at the base of Maw of Death Mountain.
- South Akkala Stable: Northeast of Foothill Stable, next to the Akkala Citadel Ruins.
- East Akkala Stable: Northeast from South Akkala Stable, situated south of the Horse God.
- Highland Stable: Located south of Lake Hylia, within the Faron Grasslands on the southern coast.
- Lakeside Stable: Found east of the Highland Stable, deep within the jungle on the southern shore.
Once you’ve discovered a stable, it’s the perfect point to register any horses you manage to tame!
If you’re on the hunt for a stunning steed, make sure to seek out the elusive golden horses, including Zelda’s Golden Horse, Ganon’s Horse, or the impressive Giant White Stallion.
