In total, there are seven Curiosity Shops scattered throughout the map.

Deadlock Curiosity Shop Locations: Map Overview

Spawn Area

As previously mentioned, the initial Deadlock Curiosity Shop can be found in the Spawn area.

This shop allows players to purchase various items right at the start of the game, providing a valuable advantage as you prepare to engage with the opposing team. It’s important to note that these Spawn shops are exclusive to their respective teams.

Near Guardians

You will also find Curiosity Shops along the lanes adjacent to your Guardians, indicated by the cart symbol on the map. Their locations can be identified based on player positioning in relation to the map. A key detail to remember is their temporality.

These shops will remain available as long as your Guardian is alive; however, once your Guardian is defeated, the shop symbol vanishes from the map, and you can no longer make items purchases. Similar to the Spawn shops, these are also limited to their own teams exclusively.

Secret Shops

There are two unique Deadlock Curiosity Shops that set themselves apart from the others. Unlike the other shops, which are team-specific, these can be accessed by players from any team.

These two shops are positioned within the tunnels, near the mid-boss, right at the center of the map—one located to the left and the other to the right, depending on your orientation.

At Deadlock Curiosity Shops, players can purchase three distinct types of upgrades:

• Weapon Enhancements
• Vitality Boosts
• Spirit Upgrades

The crucial takeaway is that you will need Souls in Deadlock to acquire these enhancements. Without sufficient Souls, your ability to upgrade will be hampered, leading to potential losses of your Guardian over time.

When your Guardian falls, access to that particular shop will be revoked. This creates a cascading effect, where losses in combat lead to further setbacks. Therefore, it’s essential to gather as many Souls as you can while effectively managing enemy encounters.
