It is important to note that not all chapters feature a Codex. If a chapter is not included in the list below, it means that specific chapter lacks a Codex.
Chapter 1 – Village of Khalim
Doom Slayer: After defeating the enemies and clearing the portal, this Codex is located on the island behind the obelisks with blue writing.
Village of Khalim: Near the end of the chapter, once you’ve vanquished all your foes in the final arena, look for a path to the right where you will discover this Codex.
Chapter 2 – Hebeth
Hebeth: After battling Imps near the entrance of the Weapons Facility, you can find this Codex close to some crates. If you’re unsure, follow the in-game map for guidance.
Chapter 4 – Sentinel Barracks
Sentinel Barracks: This Codex can be located near the second Upgrade station. Simply follow the golden path to uncover it.
Chapter 5 – The Holy City of Aratum
The Holy City of Aratum: At the landing pad where you receive the Super Shotgun, there’s a building with two wooden platforms. Approach the entrance, go right, break the red chain, and shield bash the crate to reach the left platform where the Codex is hidden.
Deag Loric: This Codex is situated near the Cycler weapon location. Drop down from the ledge where the weapon appears on the map to collect both the Codex and some gold.
Chapter 6 – Siege: Part 1
Kreed Makyr: Look for the toy statue of Kreed Makyr near one of the Upgrade stations. You’ll need to drop onto the nearby ledge to collect this Codex.
Siege: Part 1: Search for a tunnel entrance marked by two blue torches at the far end of the map. Venture inside the dungeon, and you’ll need to use a shield throw to break a red lock and lower a block, leading you to another platform where this Codex resides.
Chapter 7 – Siege: Part 2
Siege Part 2: Relatively straightforward, once you obtain the Secret Key, drop into the courtyard and head to the specific location on the map to find the Codex.
Chapter 8 – Abyssal Forest
Abyssal Forest: Look for a faint blue mark on the thorny wall. This spot can be shattered to access the Codex hidden behind.
Chapter 9 – Ancestral Forge
Ancestral Forge: You can find this Codex by dropping off the ledge in the starting area and onto the platform below.
King Novik: At the end of the stage, as you transition into the futuristic platform zone, look upwards for a red breakable link. Destroy it, turn around, and move to the lift powered by a blue shield spot. Use your shield to activate the lift, and once it is raised, look for a climbable platform that allows access to a Codex and a Weapon Skin.
Chapter 10 – The Forsaken Plains
Prince Azkrak: Accessible once you obtain the Secret Key.
The Forsaken Plains: This Codex is discovered shortly after you reach the second Upgrade station.
Chapter 12 – Sentinel Command Station
Sentinel Command Station: This is straightforward—navigate the stage, and you’ll soon find an open chamber containing both gold and the Codex.
Chapter 14 – Spire of Nerathul
Spire of Nerathul: After resolving the Gore Puzzle, look for the green dripping pillar to locate the Codex.
Serrat: Once the BFC is unlocked, ascend the tower towards Serrat’s location and you’ll find the Codex as you near the tower’s summit.
Chapter 15 – City of Ry’uul
City of Ry’uul: Early in the chapter, you’ll encounter a chest. Drop from the ledge and follow the path depicted on the map to collect the Codex.
Chapter 16 – The Kar’Thul Marshes
The Witch: Navigate to the area marked on the map, where you’ll notice a blue shield spot peeking through the wall.Throw your shield to open the door leading to the Codex, but be cautious as monsters will spawn upon doing so.
Chapter 17 – Temple of Lomarith
Temple of Lomarith: Upon entering the underwater ships section, you should easily spot the Codex marked on your map.
Chapter 18 – Belly of the Beast
Commander Thira: This Codex isn’t particularly hidden; it’s located in the same area as a damaging munching tunnel. To find it, simply backtrack from your current objective.
Chapter 19 – Harbor of Souls
Harbor of Souls: From the Red Skull door, follow the path to the right and drop down from the ledge to the left where you will find gold alongside the Codex.
Hell Priest: Near the chapter’s conclusion, you’ll notice a corridor opposite the primary objective; explore this area to find the Hell Priest Codex.
Chapter 20 – Resurrection
Resurrection: Once you have the Yellow Key, unlock the door located here to find a Toy and a Codex.
Commander Valen: After completing the dragon stage and landing on the ship, walk backward to discover the Commander Valen Codex.
Chapter 22 – Reckoning
Marok: This Codex can be found at the beginning of the chapter, immediately after the first corridor; look to the right of the tunnel to discover it.
