Black Myth: Wukong invites players to embark on an immersive journey through ancient China, embodying the “Destined One,”known as Sun Wukong. Within the campaign mode, players face a variety of mythical and formidable enemies, presenting both challenge and excitement. To assist in these encounters, players have access to a healing Gourd, which helps regain health during battles.
Throughout this adventure, players can discover numerous beneficial Soaks, which can be infused into Sun Wukong’s gourd to amplify his abilities. Below is a comprehensive list of all the Soaks available in Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong.
All Soaks in Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong
Celestial Lotus Seeds
In Chapter 3, players can approach the Shen Monkey, where they can purchase the Celestial Lotus Seeds. Consuming this gourd temporarily restores a small portion of health.
Breath of Fire
To obtain the Breath of Fire Soak, players must defeat the Cyan Loong boss, an optional battle in the game. After the defeat, a chest will appear at the boss’s previous location, containing the Breath of Fire. This Soak enhances the Attack strength for the forthcoming Unveiling Strike when the Cloud Step spell is used.
Thunderbolt Horn
Similar to the Breath of Fire, the Thunderbolt Horn can also be acquired from the Shen Monkey. This Soak grants Sun Wukong temporary immunity against lightning attacks, although the protection lasts for a limited time. Players can find the Shen Monkey at the end of the Bamboo Grove area.
Stranded Loong’s Whisker
After successfully defeating the Kan-Jin-Loong boss, players should return to the Mirrormere Keeper’s Shrine. Following the right edge of the frozen lake, they will reach a small island with a tree, where the Whisker can be found in a golden box. This Soak extends the duration of the Immobilize spell when cast by the Destined One.
Turtle Tear
Players can acquire the Turtle Tear after defeating the Apramana Bat boss. They must then interact with the large serpent skeleton in the vicinity of the battle. A cutscene will play, culminating in the Turtle shedding a tear that players can collect. Consuming this Soak while at full health restores a moderate amount of Mana for Sun Wukong.
Sweet Ice
The Sweet Ice Soak is located within the New Thunderclap area, inside a small turtle container adorned in gold. Players should navigate from the temple entrance Keeper’s Shrine to the right path leading to the Monk of the Sea boss fight area. Not far from there lies the gold container. This Soak grants moderate chill resistance, though the effects are temporary.
