Complete Guide to All Aril Rift Locations in RAIDOU Remastered

Complete Guide to All Aril Rift Locations in RAIDOU Remastered

For a JRPG remaster to resonate with both veteran and newcomer players, it must incorporate new elements while respecting the original title. In this aspect, RAIDOU Remastered excels impressively. Apart from the inclusion of sidequests—a standard requirement, indeed—it introduces the compelling feature known as Aril Rifts.

Aril Rifts are intriguing temporal anomalies scattered throughout various environments, presenting combat challenges that are slightly tougher than average. Successfully overcoming these encounters rewards players with a significant boost of four times the experience and eight times the monetary rewards seen in standard battles.

Additionally, clearing specific quantities of Aril Rifts earns players unique items from the fox statue located at The Nameless Shrine. It’s worth noting that all Aril Rifts reset with the lunar cycle. If you wish to optimize your rewards from the fox, you must target different Aril Rifts, and an accomplishment awaits those who purge 20.

This guide will detail the locations of all Aril Rifts in RAIDOU Remastered, standing between you and the trophy of your dreams, along with delicious sakes as blessings from the gods.

Rewards for Purging Aril Rifts

RAIDOU Remastered All Aril Rift Locations (3)

As you embark on your quest to purge Aril Rifts, it’s recommended to seek out the fox statue on the left side of The Nameless Shrine. Each set of 5 unique Aril Rifts you eliminate earns you a reward.

Keep in mind that re-purging the same Aril Rift does not contribute to your reward tally. To collect every reward, you need to target all 20 distinct Rifts scattered throughout the Capital.

Below, you will find the complete list of Aril Rift locations along with the corresponding rewards for purging them:

Aril Rifts Rewards
5

“Mansaku”Sake x2 – Slightly increases a demon’s Loyalty.

10

Thin Grimoire x2 – Provides 25% of the EXP required for a level-up.

St Incense x2 – Enhances Strength by 1 for one ally.

Vi Incense x1 – Boosts Vitality by 1 for one ally.

15

“Shishiou”Sake – Moderately raises a demon’s Loyalty.

Theban Jar – Historically valuable, selling for 16, 000 yen.

20

Thick Grimoire x2 – Grants 100% of the EXP needed for a level-up.

Ma Incense x1 – Increases Magic by 1 for one ally.

Lu Incense x2 – Raises Luck by 1 for one ally.

Auspicious Medaille – Commemorative reward for purging all Aril Rifts in the Capital.

After claiming all rewards, the Fox Statue will initiate what is termed cycle 2, continuing to reward you for re-purging all Aril Rifts. However, don’t assume that the challenge level has increased; returning to earlier nodes will yield lesser experience and yen as the demons remain low-level.

While the rewards remain unchanged, the quantities increase. For instance, purging 5 Aril Rifts grants you 5 “Mansaku”Sakes instead of 2, providing an excellent opportunity for leveling up Raidou as you progress towards the endgame, ensuring you net two Thick Grimoires for purging 20 Aril Rifts.

Complete Locations of Aril Rifts

Aril Rift #1

Located in Tsukudo-cho, this initial Aril Rift is accessible immediately after rescuing Rin, serving as a tutorial for what lies ahead.

Aril Rift #2

The second Aril Rift in Tsukudo-cho can be found south of the district, near a quest-giver. Venture past the quest giver to discover this dark corner leading to the void.

Aril Rift #3

This third Aril Rift is essential for completing a Case File and can be found in an alley in the center of Tsukudo-cho, accessible from both the north and south routes.

Aril Rift (Case File)

This Aril Rift does not contribute to your total purges, but it’s crucial to note in case of confusion regarding your tally. After commencing Episode 2, three new Case Files will be revealed, including a quest to eliminate a new Aril Rift in Tsukudo-cho, positioned where Rin was dragged into the Dark Realm.

Head to the central alley in the district; you will encounter two Aril Rifts. The new one is the leftmost, facing three Tsuchigumo once more. Defeat them to complete the Case File and earn a Pyro, Frost, Volt, and Wind Steel.

Aril Rift #4

Upon entering the Daidouji Residence, locate the southeast corner of the first floor to interact with another Aril Rift.

Aril Rift #5

Next, venture upstairs, where in the southwestern corner, you’ll uncover another Aril Rift, a testament to the Daidouji family’s ongoing woes with demons.

With this, you will have purged five Aril Rifts total and can head back to The Nameless Shrine’s left fox statue to collect your first small reward.

Aril Rift #6

In Ginza-cho, your next destination, consult the mini-map and proceed east until you encounter a distressed man lamenting his damaged car.

Behind his car lies a concealed Aril Rift. It seems the developers overlooked this handy map creation.

Aril Rift #7

From Ginza-cho’s far west entry, head slightly south to find an Aril Rift adjacent to the train tracks.

Aril Rift #8

In Ginza-cho, both stairways lead to the Temporary Overpass, where you’ll find a vibrant crimson Aril Rift awaiting action.

Aril Rift #9

Upon your initial exploration of Fukagawa-cho, you’ll encounter several cutscenes, traverse the Dark Realm, and even backtrack to Tsukudo-cho before freely roaming.

Once you’ve done that, the first Aril Rift is located in an Empty Lot, a spacious area near the southern riverbank.

Aril Rift #10

Fukagawa-cho’s second Aril Rift is situated in the northeastern section. After purging the Empty Lot’s Rift, move east and then head north. Upon passing through the gate, this second Rift awaits ahead.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully purged 10 Aril Rifts. Visit The Nameless Shrine whenever you’re ready to claim your rewards from the concrete fox.

Aril Rift #11

The main storyline guides you briefly to the Red-Light District—a singular street where you will find an Aril Rift by the northern exit.

Aril Rift (Case File)

This is another Aril Rift that does not count towards your rewards tally, yet is essential to highlight. At the start of Episode 3, Yatagarasu will grant Raidou access to the Training Hall.

At The Nameless Shrine, interact with the well near the right fox statue to descend into the Training Hall. Engage the elevator in the center to reach B2.

In the northern quadrant, you’ll spot an Aril Rift. You have 3 minutes to eliminate all demons. Completing this task rewards you with a Renki sword, wrapping up the Case File.

Aril Rift #12

Your primary aim in Episode 3 is to venture to Daidouji Textiles. As you enter, expect some eerie dolls to appear. If you choose to interact, the dungeon will commence.

Bypassing the dolls, head into the east chamber to locate your twelfth Aril Rift.

Aril Rift #13

Episode 4 brings encounters with international visitors at Harumi-cho docks. Upon entering, head south and veer into a narrow path to the east to find the Aril Rift.

Aril Rift #14

From the Harumi-cho entrance, progress eastward, then north, followed by a west turn. At the intersection, continue north toward the Catholic Church to discover an Aril Rift waiting there slyly.

Aril Rift #15

The plot will eventually introduce you to a sea-traversing demon, allowing interactions with the blue dots on the world map. Your next target is the Catholic Church.

Upon arrival, you will discover yet another Aril Rift nearby this supposedly sacred site.

Aril Rift #16

A new episode signifies the appearance of more Aril Rifts. Three can be found within Kasumidai, your forthcoming obligatory locale.

After a brief cutscene, proceed west, then head south, navigating along the edge of the map until you find an Aril Rift adjacent to a statue.

Aril Rift #17

The second Aril Rift in Kasumidai becomes accessible after firing the cannon, consequently dispersing the guard obstructing the route to the Army HQ.

Venture west from the HQ to unveil another waiting Aril Rift prepared for your summoner skills.

Aril Rift #18

Subsequently, veer east from the Army HQ and follow the path to uncover one final Aril Rift in this area.

Aril Rift #19

After several episodes without the presence of Aril Rifts, they reappear! Your next destination is Waden One, home to the radio tower. Sail to Sakuradayama to access it.

Upon entering the area, you will immediately notice an Aril Rift. Purge it, and continue your journey as a Devil Summoner.

Aril Rift #20

Remaining in Sakuradayama, advance southward toward Omitsu Shrine to uncover your twentieth and final Aril Rift. Purging this will grant you a trophy and the last batch of rewards from the fox statue.
