How to Reach Sinner’s Road

To access Sinner’s Road, take a ride to Greymoor via the Bellway. Upon arrival, exit the station and proceed into Greymoor. Ascend the wall to your right and exit at the upper level.

Continue right until you encounter an elevator switch. Activate it and ride to the top. Once you’re off the elevator, jump onto it, then advance to the platforms on your right. You can either pogo off a floating balloon or utilize the Faydown Cloak to navigate a sequence of ascending platforms.

Follow the upward path to the right, performing wall jumps until you discover an entrance. This marks the beginning of your exploration within Sinner’s Road.

Unveiling the Depths

As you step into the initial room of Sinner’s Road, brace yourself to face its most challenging adversaries. The Muckroaches are exceptionally aggressive, exhibiting speed and a ferocious grab attack. The optimal strategy is to leap over them when they prepare to grapple, indicated by a loud roar, and then strike back.

Once you navigate past this section, proceed to the adjacent room on the right, where various paths await. Initially, head upward using wall jumps while evading the floating enemy that throws projectiles at you. You can counter these projectiles, but alternatively, dodge and ascend to attack from below.

After clearing that foe, move left and jump into an alcove. Here, you’ll encounter a gap with a swinging spike ball; carefully jump or pogo over it to reach a bench and Shakra. After a much-needed rest, head back outside.

Return to the site of your previous battle and enter the open door on the right. Be cautious of the water below, as it harbors leeches that can drain your silk, rendering you unable to employ skills or heal.

Cross the area, ideally equipped with the necessary traversal abilities. Take note of a locked door at the far end, then ascend using the cages and spiked balls as you pogo upward.

Upon reaching the top left platform, perform a running leap to the right, executing a double jump to glide over. Inside the tent, accept a quest to collect ten Muckroach guts, and you will be rewarded with the Tacks ability—a powerful new tool.

Once finished, head back to the farthest left platform, drop into the pathway, and unlock the door by hitting the switch beneath it. This leads you back to the main shaft.

Locating Styx

Advance all the way up using your pogo and double jump skills, then enter the upper area. Open the path on the right and continue upwards, navigating across platforms while evading the intimidating chain-wielding foes and Muckroaches below.

Enter the next section on the far right, which is a substantial vertical room comprising additional rooms at both the top and bottom. For now, let’s head upwards first.

Dispatch the buzzing swordsman within, then navigate through a narrow corridor filled with spikes. Wall-jump along the safe spots before slipping into the left path. Ascend this route and prepare for a confrontation with a mini-boss.

This foe is powerful yet slow; utilize jumping and slicing from behind for an effective strategy. Defeating him rewards you with a small key that will be useful later. Descend back down to the door situated at the bottom right.

Leap across the gaps until you encounter one that descends into a spike pit. Use the Drifter’s Cloak to glide down, where you will find two Muckroaches guarding an interesting area.

Eliminate them, and speak with the entity that appears—it is Styx, who will offer you rewards as you return over the course of the game.

Making Your Escape to Bilewater

Now, it’s time to backtrack to where you previously found the Green Prince locked in a cage. Open that cage and head immediately right along the lower path.

This section is fraught with danger due to the presence of both Muckroaches and airborne swordsmen. Upon reaching the end of this chamber, descend through the lower path and enter the chamber below.

In this area, you’ll discover the Barbed Bracelet, an item that enhances your damage output but also increases the damage you take. Equipped with that, you will be ready to continue.

Return to the large vertical room and locate the central exit, which requires dropping through a broken cage. Upon doing so, you will successfully exit into Bilewater, leaving behind the trials of Sinner’s Road.
