The latest chapter of the beloved sketch comedy series, Studio C, is season 19, which has been delighting families with its comedic content since its debut in 2012. Under the direction of Michael Hunter, this new season made its debut on BYUtv on October 14, 2024.
Conceived by creators Matt Meese and Jared Shores, season 19 features a blend of returning favorites and new talent, with well-known cast members like Dalton Johnson, Tori Pence, and Garet Allen, alongside newcomers Michelle Knapp and Hugh Clark.
Meet the Cast of Studio C Season 19
1. Matt Meese
As a founding member and the head writer of Studio C, Matt Meese has played a crucial role in shaping the show’s success and popularity among viewers. His impressive writing portfolio also includes projects like Freelancers and Bring the Funny.
2. Dalton Johnson
Dalton Johnson, who became a part of Studio C in its eighth season, joined the ensemble as the youngest member in 2017. Prior to his time on Studio C, he had spent two years performing with the sketch comedy troupe Divine Comedy.
3. Tori Pence
Also joining in season 8, Tori Pence became a standout cast member with Aaron Fielding and Dalton Johnson. She was first seen in a cameo for sketches like Drop What You’re Doing and then continued with Studio C up until season 13.
4. Gareth Allen
A core member since the show’s beginning, Garet Allen has amazed audiences with his versatility across various roles. Garet’s contributions extend beyond performance as he is a co-creator, actively involved in writing and production.
5. Naomi Winders
Naomi Winders made her debut in season 14 as a featured cast member alongside Megan Rico, coming from her successful stint as an original member of Divine Comedy. She previously had multiple cameos throughout earlier seasons of Studio C, and has appeared in films like Lucy, Whitney (2022), and Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024).
6. Jericho Lopez
Joining Studio C in season 18, Jericho Lopez quickly established himself as one of the most adaptable actors on the show. Previously, he starred in Schoolhouse Rock Live! and Honk. Jericho’s accolades also include finishing in the top ten at the 2008 National Speech and Debate Tournament for Humorous Interpretation, in addition to his film appearances in Secondhand Hearts and Get the Girl.
7. Kiri Case
Kiri Case, a talented writer and comedian, joined the cast in Season 17 and is credited for her writing contributions to the series. She is well-known for her dynamic presence and comedic talent, and she published her young adult novel, The Hollywood Dropout, in 2021.
8. Carl Foreman
Making his presence felt since joining in Season 18, Carl Foreman is back for Season 19. He has been involved with notable shows such as Search Party and Jon Glaser Loves Gear.
9. Myles Fin
Aleta Myles came on board during Season 18 and has been applauded for her vibrant performances. She will continue to grace Studio C with her talent in Season 19 as well.
