Cody Rhodes questioning Seth Rollins’ loyalty on WWE RAW after The Rock’s attack on him last week must happen, says veteran

A seasoned wrestler holds the belief that on WWE RAW tomorrow, Cody Rhodes should challenge Seth Rollins’ loyalty. The individual in question is the renowned Vince Russo.

The American Nightmare was in the middle of a fight with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa backstage when he was suddenly ambushed by The Rock on last Monday’s episode of RAW. The Final Boss left the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble champion with severe injuries in the parking lot. Following the incident, there was speculation among fans as to why Seth Rollins, his tag team partner at WrestleMania, did not come to his aid.

On his podcast The Brand, Russo proposed that Rhodes question Rollins about his absence, creating uncertainty about The Visionary’s loyalty leading up to WrestleMania.

“Where was Seth? That’s where you need to go next week. But they won’t. You know they won’t, bro. You know Cody is not gonna ask the question: where the hell were you? And now really cause some doubt and drama going into WrestleMania. You know they’re not gonna go there. They’re gonna forget all about it. But as I’m watching this, if you want me to connect the dots, then where was his buddy Seth when he was getting his a** kicked?”[From 05:46 to 06:13]

WWE Champion Seth Rollins to Defend Title at WrestleMania XL

On Night One of WrestleMania XL, Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will join forces to take on The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a huge tag team match.

On Night Two, The Tribal Chief will face a challenge from The American Nightmare for his title, while The Visionary will also put his championship on the line against The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre.

Just over a week ago, Reigns and Rhodes engaged in a heated confrontation during an episode of SmackDown. Both men expressed doubts about the loyalty of their respective partners. In a recent episode of the Busted Open podcast, a WWE Hall of Famer shared his belief that Rollins may potentially betray his partner at WrestleMania, and there is also speculation that The Rock could potentially turn on The Tribal Chief.
