Gameplay Enhancements

First unveiled at the Summer Game Fest 2025, Code Vein II promises significant improvements over its predecessor. According to a recent gameplay presentation, the character customization feature has been overhauled to allow for an unprecedented level of detail. Players can now modify facial attributes like eyes and scars, along with outfits, hats, masks, and various accessories.

The game retains the signature Soulslike combat style while introducing innovative mechanics. Notably, the introduction of a new bayonet weapon type allows players to engage in both ranged and melee combat, incorporating ammunition management into their strategy. The game continues to build on the concept of bleed status, enabling players to execute devastating jail attacks.
