Users are experiencing significant performance enhancements after upgrading to the latest NVIDIA Hotfix driver. This update addressed several critical bugs, leading to a smoother gaming experience.
Impressive Benchmarks: Reddit User Achieves Record Scores with NVIDIA Hotfix Driver 595.76
The recently released Hotfix driver, version 595.76, has sparked discussions among users of the GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, many of whom are reporting improved performance. Just prior to this update, NVIDIA launched driver version 595.71, which aimed to resolve performance issues in titles like Resident Evil: Requiem. Unfortunately, it inadvertently introduced core voltage issues that hampered graphics card performance, notably causing the RTX 5090 to operate below 3 GHz.
Frustrated feedback from users prompted NVIDIA to release the 595.76 update, which appears to have resolved these core voltage restrictions. Users are now anticipating notable performance improvements. For instance, a Redditor known as u/CoffeeStock8536 reported an exceptional score of 35, 853 in the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark, effectively breaking his previous records.

Utilizing the ASUS PRIME RTX 5080, he reported achieving an impressive 99.72 FPS in the Steel Nomad benchmark—up from 92.23 FPS with the prior driver. This represents a remarkable 7% performance improvement simply by installing the updated driver.
Yeah this is my daily gaming OC and it’s super stable, I was super impressed by how well it handles OC’ing. Without changing any settings, I was able to pick up a decent amount of performance just by getting the new hotfix driver.

In terms of real-world gaming, users have also reported improved FPS in games like Assetto Corsa and BeamNG, noting increases ranging from 15 to 30 FPS compared to previous driver versions. The consensus among users is that the new driver allows the RTX 50 series to achieve maximum core frequencies more effectively during overclocking, enhancing overall performance.

If you have yet to update to driver version 595.76, we highly recommend downloading it and testing it to see if you experience similar performance gains.
