While the beloved Ol’ Tessie may seem destined for the scrapyard upon arriving at Astra Malorum, players can find a way to revive this classic vehicle. In the latest Black Ops 7 Zombies, a clever easter egg allows you to bring Ol’ Tessie back to life with the powerful Wunderwaffe DG-2 Turret.

To obtain the DG-2 Turret Barrel and breathe new life into Ol’ Tessie, follow these straightforward steps outlined below. Get ready to restore this iconic ride, albeit without T. E.D. D.and the wheels.

Finding the DG-2 Turret in Astra Malorum

Rock near Wisp Tea — A key location near the Wisp Tea perk machine.

To successfully repair Ol’ Tessie, your first step is to equip an explosive Lethal item, such as a Semtex or Frag Grenade. Head to the Abyssal Rim, where you will find the Wisp Tea perk machine. Position yourself facing Saturn and throw your explosive device at the floating rock located slightly to the left of the perk machine.

When done correctly, this will cause the large floating rock to appear in front of Saturn. You can then run toward the rock and execute a wall jump to propel yourself towards Saturn. While airborne, be sure to interact with the floating DG-2 Turret Barrel in front of you to collect it.

Once you respawn (you will not die in this process), make your way back to Ol’ Tessie located at the Crash Site. Climb onto the back of Ol’ Tessie and interact with the gunner seat to begin repairs on the wonder vehicle and gain access to the DG-2 Turret. Although zombies may throw their flesh at you while you’re in the gunner seat, this setup can serve as an effective strategy for high rounds; simply hoard the zombies, fire a few shots with the DG-2 Turret, and repeat the process for maximum effectiveness.
