Additionally, you have the option to manually input your desired row or column count, making this feature both versatile and user-friendly.

After creating a table, you can enter text and format the content within the cells, including adding options like bold, italic, underlined text, and hyperlinks. Notably, this feature remains resource-efficient, operating seamlessly without significant CPU or RAM usage, as all table details are preserved in a simple.txt format.

Enhanced Functionality and User Control

Notepad’s functionality allows for easy management of table components. Right-clicking within the table grants you options to insert or delete both rows and columns or even remove the entire table. You can conveniently select parts of the table without the hassle of dragging across cells. If your table appears misaligned, the “Fit columns to window width” feature helps organize your layout effectively.

The “Create a table”capability is enabled by default, but users have the flexibility to disable it. By accessing the Settings, you can turn off Markdown formatting, which will remove tables along with other formatting features such as bold and italics.
