When was the latest update for Bite By Night?

The most recent update for Bite By Night was released on April 7th, 2026. This update introduced numerous new skins, essential fixes, and several new features, although players should be aware that the game remains in beta, meaning some glitches may still be present. If your gaming experience is hindered by a major bug, consider reporting it on the Bite By Night Discord.

What new Killers were introduced in the latest update?

This update didn’t unveil entirely new Killers, but it did add several exciting skins for existing characters. Notably, players can now enjoy the Molten skin for Ennard, inspired by Molten Freddy from Five Nights At Freddy’s Pizzeria Simulator. As a fan of Sister Location, this addition is highly appreciated—even if it features a creepy amalgamation of wires!

The additional skins introduced include:

  • Spaghetti – Ennard
  • Mime – Ennard
  • Anomaly – Ennard

In short, this update was a great day for Ennard enthusiasts and fans of whimsical spaghetti-themed horror characters. For those with that unique passion, congratulations on the payoff after enduring years of anticipation!

Adjustments, Buffs, and Nerfs

While we won’t cover every single change (check the patch notes above if you’re interested!), this update is packed with significant modifications and bug fixes that developers are actively addressing.

The most crucial nerf revolves around The Mimic’s drill ability, a mechanic that caused backlash for its excessive power. Community sentiment indicated that The Mimic’s AoE damage from subterranean strikes was frustrating, prompting developers to reduce its hitbox.

On the buff side, Ennard received an expanded grab hitbox and now delivers a 0.3-second stun with successful grabs. Springtrap gained the Deafness effect during his scream, which temporarily silences players’ footsteps. Enhancements for Springtrap are especially welcome, as he often lags behind other characters in versatility.

The Fighter Survivor class also saw substantial improvements, now featuring enhanced HP and longer durations for Blindness and Deafness effects. The Security Guard’s Taser ability has been upgraded to inflict a 0.1-second stun, strengthening its effectiveness against Ennard, and significantly countering his strategies. It’s likely that many contested exchanges will arise in-game as players confront the increased power of Security Guards against the already formidable Ennard.

Other Significant Changes

Additionally, one of the standout changes is the price increase in the in-game shop. All three purchasable Survivor classes have seen significant hikes in Scrap requirements:

  • Fighter: Increased from 600 to 1, 350 Scrap
  • Medic: Upped from 600 to 800 Scrap
  • Security Guard: Raised from 900 to 1, 100 Scrap

Players who aimed to acquire Survivor roles may find themselves grinding more intensely due to these increased costs. The prices of skins have also risen, with the most significant change noted for the Hoax skin for Springtrap, which skyrocketed from 3, 500 Scrap to 5, 500 Scrap. That’s almost comparable to the price for acquiring Ennard!

On another note, players should keep in mind that this update delivered unexpected bugs. Fortunately, the developers responded with their inaugural redeemable code as an apology. Visit our Bite By Night codes page for guidance on redeeming this new code and acquiring some free Scrap, which will certainly help, given the inflation seen in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria!

This wraps up our coverage of the latest Bite By Night update! Be sure to return here for future updates where we’ll share new additions, tweaks, and nerfs.
