Intel Core Ultra 5 250K/KF Plus and Ultra 7 270K Plus Appear on Retail Platforms Ahead of Official Release
In anticipation of Intel’s formal announcement regarding the Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs, select retailers have already begun listing these new WeUs, suggesting a launch is imminent. Leaker @momomo_us discovered these listings, which appeared on two EU-based retailer websites.

The Romanian retailer showcased several models: the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, Core Ultra 5 270KF Plus, and Core Ultra 7 270K Plus. As these processors are under embargo, they are not available for immediate purchase, yet the site has revealed their expected prices. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is listed for 1699 lei, roughly equivalent to US$393, while the Core Ultra 7 265K is slightly less at 1649 lei, indicating a minimal increase of $10-$15.
Additionally, the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is priced at 1129 lei or US$261, which mirrors the list price of its predecessor, the Core Ultra 5 245K. Furthermore, Intel plans to release the “KF”variant, which lacks integrated graphics, at the same price point as the Core Ultra 5 245KF, priced at 1049 lei or US$242. From another EU retailer, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus appears at €258.13, again with no noticeable price increase compared to the Core Ultra 7 265K.

The specifications listed detail a 24-core/24-thread configuration for the Ultra 7 270K Plus, enhancing the previous 20-core/20-thread structure of the 265K model. This new CPU features an additional four Efficient cores and a slightly improved Turbo clock speed of 5.6 GHz compared to the 5.5 GHz of its predecessor. While there may be discrepancies in the reported Thermal Design Power (TDP), expect updates that will clarify this information closer to the official launch date.
Currently, listings for the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus are absent; however, it is anticipated that it will be priced similarly to the Ultra 9 285K.
