The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is fast approaching, set to take place in just over a week in Las Vegas. Exciting leaks continue to emerge, with Windows Latest revealing a comprehensive list of HP devices and accessories that will be featured at the event.
While detailed specifications for all devices remain elusive, we do have high-resolution images and model names. Reports indicate a significant revamp of various lines, including business laptops, standard OmniBook systems, Chromebooks, gaming equipment, and various accessories.
Upcoming HP EliteBook X G2 Series for 2026
The EliteBook X Series epitomizes HP’s premium business laptop range, intended to integrate next-generation AI technologies within a sleek and light framework, effectively providing enterprise-grade security.
The current lineup features two models: the HP EliteBook X G1a, powered by AMD Ryzen AI Processors, and the HP EliteBook X G1i, utilizing Intel Core Ultra processors.
For CES 2026, our sources indicate the arrival of new models:
- HP EliteBook X G2a
- HP EliteBook X G2i
- HP EliteBook X G2q
These new models do not exhibit notable physical differences from one another. The G2a and G2i models are expected to be equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 400 series and Intel Panther Lake processors, respectively. Meanwhile, the G2q may utilize a Qualcomm processor, possibly the Snapdragon X2 Series chipset, with a strong likelihood of featuring the Snapdragon X2 Elite or even the X2 Elite Xtreme.
Interestingly, previous reports indicated the upcoming Snapdragon X2 Plus chipset, which has yet to be officially announced by Qualcomm. Additional confirmation of this chipset’s existence stems from its association with the upcoming Lenovo IdeaPad 5x series, further cementing its role in the more mainstream market.
Revitalization of the OmniBook Brand at CES
The OmniBook series originally thrived between 1993 and 2002 and was known for its pioneering features; however, the brand fell into obscurity post HP’s acquisition of Compaq. Remarkably, HP revived the OmniBook brand in late 2024, and CES 2026 will feature four distinct OmniBook laptops.
Every leaked image displays these laptops running the Windows 11 operating system, prominently featuring a Recall icon in the taskbar. This indicates all models are likely equipped with Windows 11 AI capabilities, possibly under the Copilot+ PC designation.
HP OmniBook Models Set for 2026
HP OmniBook 3 14
HP describes the OmniBook 3 as an everyday laptop, ideal for entertainment, which usually translates to a budget-friendly device. The OmniBook 3 features a 14-inch display and will exist in two variations: one with a generic designation and another tagged as NGAIPC (Next Gen AI PC).
At a glance, there appears to be no significant physical differentiation between the two versions. If the NGAIPC designation indicates different processor architectures, we are eager to see how HP incorporates AI into its budget lineup.
HP OmniBook 5 14 NGAIPC
The OmniBook 5 series aligns with the HP Pavilion series, targeting students and professionals alike. Sources reveal color options such as Glacier Silver and Meteor Silver, with the device suspected to feature a 14-inch display and some AI functionality.
HP OmniBook 5 16
The 16-inch variant may offer enhanced specifications due to its larger size, which typically allows for better thermal management and superior battery life. However, it appears to have retained a compact layout without a dedicated number pad, with an additional color option: Starlit Blue.
HP OmniBook Ultra 14
The final model leaked in the OmniBook series is the HP OmniBook Ultra 14-inch laptop NGAI PC QC. The designation “QC”presumably points to Qualcomm, suggesting this model might be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. The product is expected to be available in a distinctive Stone Blue color.
Currently, HP’s premium OmniBook Ultra series is already on the market and offers Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors. It will be intriguing to discover which processors will power this upcoming laptop, particularly given the Intel Panther Lake and AMD Ryzen AI 400 series information already in circulation for 2026.
HP’s Chromebook Initiative at CES 2026
HP is also preparing to unveil four different Chromebook models at this year’s CES, with two of these models likely to feature enhanced specifications under the Plus category.
The Chromebook Plus initiative, which Google recently introduced, elevates the Chromebook experience by imposing higher hardware requirements, including at least an Intel Core i3 12th Gen or AMD Ryzen 3 5000 series processor, a minimum of 8GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and a Full HD web camera with Temporal Noise Reduction.

HP Chromebook Plus x360 14
This Chromebook Plus variant is expected to include at least 8GB of RAM as standard. Our sources indicate it may feature a stylus with the 2-in-1 format, though it’s unclear whether this accessory will be included. The device will also be available in Glacier Silver.
As the industry anticipates a new $800 Apple laptop aimed at the Chromebook market in 2026, it may exert downward pressure on pricing for Windows devices, a sentiment echoed by analysts in the tech community.
