Girl group H1-KEY is set to commemorate their fourth anniversary with the release of their latest single, “Not Like a Movie, ”scheduled for January 5, 2026. This release coincides with exactly four years since their debut.
The new track, titled “세상은 영화같지 않더라 (Not Like a Movie)”in Korean, will be available on all major digital platforms at 6 p.m. KST, as announced by their agency, Choi Creative Lab Entertainment. This marks H1-KEY’s first musical offering in roughly seven months, following the release of their fourth mini-album, “Lovestruck, ”back in June 2025.
This upcoming single signifies a notable shift in concept for the group, transitioning from their previous summer vibe represented by “Summer Was You”to a more contemplative winter theme. The title alludes to the notion that life is akin to a movie, instilling excitement and curiosity about H1-KEY’s evolving musical narrative, as highlighted by Korea JoongAng Daily.

H1-KEY made their official debut on January 5, 2022, launching their career with the single album “Athletic Girl, ”produced under Grandline Group (GLG) and Sony Music Korea. The name “H1-KEY, ”pronounced as “High-key, ”embodies their aspiration for a confident and wholesome beauty image.
