Get Ready for the Launch of China’s Most Powerful Gaming GPU, the Lisuan G100, This Week

This year has witnessed a scarcity of new consumer GPU releases; however, Chinese manufacturer Lisuan is set to shake things up with the anticipated launch of its G100 GPU, which is expected to be unveiled this week.

Lisuan: Pioneering the 6nm Gaming GPU Landscape in China

While major players like NVIDIA and AMD have exhibited a rather stagnant approach in terms of rolling out new models in the gaming segment, Lisuan is positioning itself to fill the gap with its G100 GPU. According to reports from @realVictor_M, the launch is slated for March 12, merely three days away. This release marks a significant milestone, as the Lisuan G100 is recognized as the first 6nm gaming GPU produced in China, and initial performance benchmarks indicate that it could rival offerings from established giants like NVIDIA and AMD.

The G100’s specifications are particularly striking, especially its inclusion of 12 GB of GDDR6 memory operating over a PCIe 4.0 interface. Such features hint at Lisuan’s intent to compete directly with NVIDIA’s 60-class GPUs. Further bolstering this ambition, the G100 is equipped with 192 Texture Mapping Units (TMUs), 96 Render Output Units (ROPs), and a maximum Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 225W, managed through a single 8-pin power connector. Early OpenCL benchmark results reveal that the Lisuan G100 outperforms the NVIDIA RTX 4060 and AMD’s Radeon RX 9060 XT.

Reports indicate that Lisuan began mass production of these GPUs as early as September 2025, making a launch in the first half of 2026 a logical step. However, it remains uncertain whether the company will prioritize consumer variants or focus initially on workstation solutions, given the substantial domestic computing demand in China. Competing firms like Moore Threads are swiftly moving toward public offerings to leverage the current AI boom, which could also influence Lisuan’s strategy.

As of now, the specifics regarding the pricing and retail availability of the G100 are not yet disclosed. Industry watchers anticipate that these details will emerge in conjunction with the official launch announcement directed by Lisuan later this week.
