The recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase generated significant buzz among players, particularly those who exclusively use the Nintendo Switch 2. During the event, several major announcements focused on renowned titles making their way to this platform, giving players an exciting glimpse into the future of gaming on Switch 2. This will be followed by Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which is set to become available on May 12, 2026. Meanwhile, Oblivion Remastered is scheduled for release later this year, although an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
Expanding the Bethesda Library on Nintendo Switch 2
These newly announced ports will enhance the gaming library available on Nintendo Switch 2, complementing the already popular The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim version accessible on the platform. However, fans of Bethesda are still awaiting updates regarding DOOM: The Dark Ages and its potential release on Switch 2.

In addition to Bethesda’s big announcements, the showcase also revealed the release date for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the Switch 2. This not only excites fans awaiting this title but also provides hints about the upcoming unveiling of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3.
