Today, IGN has officially launched its Forza Horizon 6 IGN First series with a captivating 9-minute gameplay showcase, featuring a breathtaking “scenic driving”experience through the beautifully crafted landscapes of Japan. The video takes players on an exhilarating journey from the southern regions of the map, traversing diverse biomes, and culminating on the outskirts of Tokyo before returning north to one of the game’s designated racing circuits. The seamless transitions between the different biomes highlighted in the footage are particularly impressive.
Traffic Settings and Gameplay Insights
In this gameplay presentation, IGN pointed out that the traffic levels were intentionally reduced by Playground Games. This decision was made to allow viewers to fully appreciate the intricate environments rather than contend with a congested roadway. Players should anticipate a more dynamic traffic experience when they engage with Forza Horizon 6 in actual gameplay.
Showcase Vehicle and Cover Car Details
The gameplay was captured using a Saleen S7, although this choice was somewhat arbitrary. The game’s cover vehicle is the Toyota GR GT. However, IGN mentioned that this car has not yet been approved by the manufacturer for presentation in the game, a standard protocol in the realm of licensed racing games.
