Completing a brief introductory quest will add both characters to your roster of playable options. After this, simply switch to Scholar to commence his Remembrance quests.
Upon accessing your journal, you will notice new entries become available. To kick off the initial Remembrance quest, it’s advisable to undertake an expedition, particularly the “Balancers”expedition with the Scholar. Success in this quest doesn’t hinge on defeating the Nightlords; rather, surviving as long as possible and returning to Roundtable Hold will unlock a fresh entry in Scholar’s Journal. However, for a quicker progression to Chapter 3, consider taking out a Nightlord.

Upon initiating the Chapter 3 Remembrance quest, return to the Chapel and interact with the table located just to the right of the entrance.
Once in the game, consult your map to identify a landmark marked with a glowing red objective indicator. The precise location may vary, but the interior layout will remain constant, simplifying navigation. Be mindful of the gooey sludge surrounding the area, which can inflict status effects. Stock up on consumables to mitigate these effects.
Upon entering the building, navigate through the corridor and make an immediate left into the hole in the wall. Here, you will encounter some enemies, which you can choose to engage or avoid. To the right is a well-lit doorway that leads to a hatch with a ladder descending into lower levels.
After dropping down, interact with the glowing item on the table to acquire the Vassal’s Journal. This action concludes the Personal objective. You can then return to Roundtable Hold, either by completing the quest or by perishing.
Back at the Chapel, you’ll find Undertaker interacting with some purple goo on a wall. Speak with her, and the Iron Menial will alert you to a cave-in reported in one of the rooms. After the dialogue, return to the table to analyze the Vassal’s Journal, thus completing Chapter 3 of the Scholar Remembrance quests in Elden Ring Nightreign: Forsaken Hollows.
Walkthrough for Scholar Remembrance “Chapter 5″in Nightreign: Forsaken Hollows
Upon completing the Chapter 3 quest, you will gain access to Chapters 4 and 5.
To begin the next Remembrance quest, visit the Small Jar Merchant and ask to see the Great Hollow. You will be transported to a new setting featuring a large boulder suspended by chains.
In this area, you’ll confront several Glintstone Sorcerers, who will attack if they notice you. However, engaging them is not necessary; instead, ascend to the top floor and leap onto the chained boulder.
Once atop the boulder, you’ll spot a small hole in the wall, accessible via the beams. Passing through leads you to a locked door.
To unlock this door, you’ll need to address a loud noise, resulting in a battle against the Marauder (Godskin Apostle).This encounter can be straightforward if you’ve left the Glintstone Sorcerers alive, as they will distract both the Marauder and surrounding soldiers, allowing you to attack safely from a distance.
After defeating your foes, return to the now-unlocked door and enter to interact with the soldier encased in crystal. This will teleport you back to Roundtable Hold and grant you the Cleansing Tear. Completing Chapter 5 will also enable access to Chapters 6 and 7, with Chapter 8 requiring you to defeat the Nightlord after finishing the Balancers expedition and subsequently completing the final expedition titled “Dreglord.”
Concluding this questline will allow you to focus on the Undertaker quests, rounding out your experience within the Elden Ring Nightreign: Forsaken Hollows.
