In Elden Ring Nightreign, raids represent thrilling boss challenges that occur on the first or second day of an expedition. Each raid functions as a unique World Event, offering distinctive experiences for players. The base game originally included only four raids; however, the recent addition of the Forsaken Hollows DLC has introduced three new raid encounters. This comprehensive guide aims to detail the newly added raids, strategies for completing them, and the special powers that players can acquire in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Overview of All DLC Raids in Elden Ring Nightreign
Mist Raid

The Caligo raid begins with a dragon enveloping the area in a dense fog, severely obstructing visibility. As players face this formidable foe, they must also contend with ice crystals shot across the landscape, which not only inflict direct damage but also build up frostbite. To successfully engage in this raid, it is essential to act swiftly.
Once the raid starts, players can quickly open their map to locate a large red radius indicating Caligo’s position. Approach the area to discover the dragon resting; delivering several attacks will cause Caligo to take flight, thus completing the raid. Successful completion rewards players with the following power:
- Cold Mirage: This ability allows you to conceal yourself from life-threatening attacks, neutralizing all incoming damage.
Sword (Tricephalus) Raid

The Gladius raid offers its own set of challenges, especially due to the spawning of three Sundered Tricephalos across various locations. Players are tasked with locating and defeating all three, marked within the red zones on the map. Although these Tricephalos are not particularly strong individually, they are frequently accompanied by smaller enemies that can make the encounter treacherous.
Moreover, throughout the raid, players suffer consistent fire damage, affecting a percentage of their health every second. The spatial separation of the Tricephalos can disrupt efficient strategies, particularly on complex maps like The Great Hollow. If participating in a trio, effective communication can facilitate successful coordination, with players assigning one member to deal with each Tricephalos. Completing this raid grants players:
- Beast’s Hunt: This power allows for the restoration of stamina with each successive attack, enhancing stamina recovery for both yourself and nearby allies.
Balancers Raid

Lastly, the Balancers raid provides an engaging experience as players are teleported to various locations as soon as the battle commences. The deployment points can include Blacksmith Villages, ideal for weapon skill adjustments, or nearby Encampments. During this phase, players will also notice a reduction in their flasks, which will gradually restore as the Balancers are defeated.
Emailing a Balancer involves dealing with both the Balancer and any area boss present, which can heighten the difficulty. Thankfully, Balancers have relatively low health, so they can be eliminated quickly if prioritized correctly. After defeating all three Balancers, players can recover their Health Flasks and will gain the following power:
- Power to Balance the World: This ability grants you the chance to rise from near-death situations unaided, with an increase in attack power upon recovery.
