On Friday, BigHit Music made an exciting announcement: BTS will release their fifth studio album, titled “Arirang, ” on March 20, 2026. This album is particularly significant as it marks the group’s return to the music scene after nearly four years.

Meaning Behind “Arirang”

The album’s name is inspired by “Arirang, ”a traditional Korean folk song celebrated for its deep emotional resonance and themes of yearning. BigHit Music noted that this title encapsulates the album’s emotional core, mirroring the feelings of the members during their hiatus.

The forthcoming album will feature 14 tracks, with specific song titles yet to be disclosed.
