Nscale is set to enhance its AI capabilities significantly by integrating 30, 000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs into its existing infrastructure, which already includes 100, 000 chips slated for deployment by 2027.
Nscale Enhances AI Datacenters with 30, 000 More NVIDIA Rubin GPUs
The NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI chips are highly coveted in the tech industry due to their aim of providing unparalleled speed for AI inferencing, thus propelling the development of Agentic AI.
Josh Payne, Founder and CEO at Nscale, stated: “Customer demand for advanced AI infrastructure continues to accelerate across markets, and our focus is on bringing the latest technology online in the right locations and at real scale. Deployments in Narvik reflect strong demand from customers and Nscale continues to respond with pace and relentless execution.”
In light of growing interest from strategic partners, including Microsoft, Nscale is expanding its AI datacenter capabilities. The recent deployment of 100, 000 Vera Rubin chips is now complemented by an additional 30, 000 Rubin GPUs.

This increased GPU capacity paves the way for an expanded collaboration with Microsoft, positioning the Nscale Narvik campus to achieve a remarkable 230MW AI chip capacity. This development is set to become the “largest onshore infrastructure project in Norway.”
Previously, Nscale established itself as a pioneer among global providers by integrating NVIDIA Vera Rubin chips into its offerings, skillfully merging advanced architectures such as NVIDIA Grace Blackwell with the Vera Rubin technology, all with a projected rollout to customers by 2027.
“Deploying agentic and physical AI requires a new class of supercomputing infrastructure capable of delivering scale and efficiency for demanding inference workloads, ” said Ian Buck, Vice President and General Manager, Hyperscale and HPC at NVIDIA. “Nscale’s deployment of the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform will provide critical AI infrastructure for European developers to push the frontiers of AI.”
The additional 30, 000 chips will also be operational by 2027. While these GPUs will primarily enhance the Narvik facility, the initial batch of 100, 000 chips will be strategically distributed across Nscale locations in Europe, including the UK and Norway. These innovative rack-scale AI datacenters will feature NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin NVL72 systems, each encompassing 72 Rubin GPUs alongside Vera CPUs, representing a critical advancement in Nscale’s ongoing commitment to cutting-edge AI technologies.
