CM Punk sends heartfelt message to injured WWE Superstar

CM Punk took to social media today to express his heartfelt message to a WWE Superstar who was injured. This weekend, during WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia, Punk will be making an appearance.

Despite his controversial past, the star made a highly-anticipated return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 and was expected to be the main event at his first WrestleMania. Unfortunately, he sustained a torn triceps during the Men’s Royal Rumble match in January and will be unable to compete for the foreseeable future. However, fans can still catch him in action as he serves as a guest commentator for the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre at The Show of Shows this weekend.

After sustaining injuries to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a singles match against Asuka of Damage CTRL on the December 8 episode of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair has been placed on the sidelines. As a result, she will be unable to participate in this year’s WrestleMania.

Former WWE rivals CM Punk and SmackDown star rekindle friendship

WWE commentator Corey Graves has recently disclosed that he and CM Punk have reconciled and their friendship has been restored.

Corey Graves is currently fulfilling the role of lead commentator on the SmackDown announce team, working alongside Wade Barrett.

During Royal Rumble 2024, Graves and I had a lengthy conversation and were able to reconcile our differences.

“I am proud to report that it’s all water under the bridge. Actually, at the Royal Rumble, I finally had a chance in person [to talk]. I bumped into him briefly the night of Survivor Series backstage, but it was chaotic. He had just come back. Everything was at 11 at the moment. The day of the Royal Rumble at Tropicana Field, I actually got to pull him aside for a few minutes, and we cleared the air [and] had a nice long chat.”[5:31 – 5:54]

At WrestleMania, Drew McIntyre has claimed responsibility for injuring CM Punk and has continued to fuel their ongoing feud. It remains to be seen if Punk, who will be providing commentary this weekend, will intervene in the World Heavyweight Championship match.
