CM Punk reacts to The Rock’s disturbing threat to WWE Superstar

Following last week’s episode of RAW, CM Punk responded to The Rock’s formidable warning directed towards a prominent WWE Superstar.

During RAW, The Rock made an unexpected appearance and confronted Cody Rhodes, leaving the audience in shock. Without saying a word, the seasoned wrestler conveyed his intention to make Cody bleed. This threat became a reality during the finale of the show, as The Great One brutally defeated The American Nightmare in a shocking display.

CM Punk, who was once a rival of The Rock in WWE, recently took to Instagram to poke fun at the aforementioned segment. In the caption of his story, Punk humorously wrote, “Greedo shot first.”

As a dedicated Star Wars enthusiast, the Second City Saint made a reference to the popular movie franchise.

The Rock vs. CM Punk: A Legendary Rivalry

At RAW 1000, Punk’s shocking heel turn saw him viciously attack The Rock. This led to a heated feud between the two on the Road to Royal Rumble 2013, culminating in a highly anticipated showdown at the event for the WWE Championship.

On that particular evening, The Rock emerged victorious and ended Punk’s 434-day reign as WWE Champion.

At WrestleMania 29, The Rock lost his title belt to John Cena in the main event, while The Undertaker defeated Punk at The Show of Shows.

Despite participating in WrestleMania 29, Punk ultimately parted ways with WWE in 2014 due to numerous disputes and conflicts behind the scenes. In a later interview with Colt Cabana, he expressed his belief that his match against The Undertaker was the standout performance of the event, stating that he was the top performer and no one else on the card could compare. Despite not being in the main event, Punk felt that his bout with The Undertaker was the true highlight of WrestleMania 29.
