“Class Dismissed”: The Circle’s Darian Gets Eliminated From the Competition
The latest episode of Netflix’s The Circle season 7, episode 9, premiered on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. This episode featured another intense blocking session where Gianna and Kevin, acting as influencers, had to decide who to eliminate from the competition.
After considerable deliberation, they agreed on a decision, ultimately putting Darian out of the game in episode 9. His elimination left him visibly upset, especially after Gianna revealed to the group that the decision was not as mutual as presented, attributing the responsibility to Kevin. Darian labeled it the “ultimate betrayal,”pointing fingers at Kevin for his elimination.
Following his exit, the surviving contestants received a poignant message from Darian, who revealed his profession as a school teacher. He expressed his desire to serve as a role model and a positive influence.
“It s*cks sitting in this seat right now when I’d love to be sitting in the finale but I’m just a boy from Jackson, Mississippi that made it to The Circle. And I feel good about that. I feel good about the connections that I made. Class dismissed,”Darian stated.
Darian Visits Jadejha Before Leaving The Circle Season 7
In this episode of The Circle season 7, similar to previous eliminated contestants, Darian got the opportunity to visit another player before his departure. He chose to connect with Jadejha, owing to their strong bond.
During their meeting, Darian aimed to clarify why he had chosen Kevin over her as the influencer. Their reunion was filled with excitement and disbelief, as both contestants were genuinely “real.”Instead of plunging straight into game talk, they took a moment to deepen their connection by discussing personal matters, including their relationship statuses.
Darian confided in Jadejha, articulating his feelings of disappointment regarding their game connection. Jadejha expressed that his elimination had “messed up”her strategy, insisting that she had always seen herself as his “number one priority.”
“You’re still my number one priority,”Darian reassured her.
Jadejha affirmed that he had always been her top choice. When she inquired about what happened, Darian explained that he considered Kevin his “number one bro,”but admitted uncertainty regarding the nature of Jadejha and Kevin’s relationship. Jadejha clarified that she had no connection with Kevin.
Darian suggested that she should keep it that way and questioned the rationale behind his elimination when Kevin held the power to decide. He then probed her feelings about Tierra.
“I don’t like her,”Jadejha stated.
Jadejha expressed that she found Tierra to be “too messy”for her taste and wasn’t “feeling it”at all. She also mentioned her discussions with Madelyn, who referred to Darian as her “Circle boo,”yet Andy/Heather advised her to be cautious around him.
“Andy messaged me saying, ‘Man, I’m scared I’mma go home. Like, ‘Bro, the bros mean everything to me.’ He was like, ‘Sometimes I have self-doubts.’ That was the last message he sent right before he got blocked,”Darian revealed.
Darian expressed skepticism about Madelyn’s narrative, while Jadejha concurred that it was “tough.”He conveyed his gratitude for Jadejha’s support, referring to her as “Miss Jadejha.”When advising her on whom to trust, he mentioned Gianna, to which Jadejha responded that if she were Darian’s “girl,”she would have fought to keep him in the show.
“But Gianna also warned me about Kevin, saying he’s a backstabber. She was very right because look where I am right now,”he added.
As a farewell gesture, the participants of The Circle season 7 took Polaroid pictures to keep as mementos. They shared a bittersweet kiss goodbye, with Darian expressing his reluctance to leave.
The final episode, episode 13, of The Circle season 7 is set to air on Wednesday, October 3, 2024, exclusively on Netflix.
