“Church day with family” – Coco Gauff shares glimpse of Easter celebrations with parents & brothers

Coco Gauff and her family recently gave a sneak peek into their Easter festivities, with her parents and brothers.

On Sunday, March 30, Gauff and her family, including her father Corey, mother Candi, and siblings Codey and Cameron, attended church to commemorate Jesus Christ’s resurrection on the third day after his crucifixion. As a devout Christian, Gauff regularly practices her faith and finds solace in attending church services.

The whole family posed for a photo in front of the church and Gauff later shared the picture on her Instagram story.

“Happy Resurrection Day! Church day with the family,”the 20-year-old captioned the photo.

Recently, Coco Gauff disclosed that her youngest brother Cameron is more sentimental than their middle sibling Codey. She explained that Cameron is more open about his feelings, whereas it is uncommon for their other sibling to express love openly.

“When he [Codey] says, like, ‘I love you’, that’s, like, a big thing in our house because he doesn’t say it literally. Cameron, he’s the youngest one. He says it all the time. He [Cameron] is the more empathetic, emotional one, and Codey is more of the chill,”Gauff said during a press conference at the Australian Open 2024.

The 20-year-old also expressed that her family contributes to her life in a meaningful way, both on and off the court. She remarked:

“Those relationships are incredibly important to me, especially, you know, traveling a lot, being by yourself a lot. I’m lucky enough that I can have my parents come with me, and my family sometimes. It just reminds me that my value is more than how I do on the court,”she added.

Despite starting the 2024 season with a successful defense of her ASB Classic title in Auckland, Coco Gauff was unable to replicate this success in subsequent tournaments.

Despite participating in five tournaments since her victory at the ASB Classic, including the Australian Open, Qatar Open, Dubai Tennis Championships, BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, and Miami Open, she was unable to secure any additional titles for her trophy collection.
