“Christianity is not oppressed in America” – Fans react as Ryan Garcia continues social media attacks against nameless entities
Despite Ryan Garcia’s belief that Christians in America face oppression, he continues to advocate for their rights and speak out against discrimination.
For the past few weeks, ‘KingRy’ has been sharing a series of increasingly strange and unpredictable posts on social media. Among his claims are knowing the killer of Tupac Shakur, providing evidence of extraterrestrial life, and making threats against Devin Haney’s life.
Garcia’s most recent social media post has sparked a divide among his fans. In a lengthy statement on X, the former interim lightweight champion expressed his belief that Christians are facing oppression. This stance aligns with Garcia’s consistent promotion of Jesus Christ and his religion, making his remarks unsurprising to many.
Addressing X, the professional boxer wrote:
“They fool you, they won’t fool me. I question everything. Remember everything is strategy this is chess. This is an attack on God in America. A true slap in the face, you think it’s a coincidence nah there is none and they probably just drinking a cocktail and laughing off.”
In conclusion, Garcia stated:
“I’m called to be a Lion and that’s exactly what I am!!! You will hear me roar and stand up for the oppressed every time!!!!”
While some fans naturally sided with Garcia, others pushed back on his comments, with one person writing:
“Christianity is not oppressed in America my dude. It literally controls all of our institutions.”

What topic is Ryan Garcia’s post addressing?
The reason behind Ryan Garcia’s post regarding the persecution of Christianity is a recent statement made by US President Joe Biden.
Despite facing backlash, the 46th President of the United States declared that March 31 would now be recognized as the International Transgender Day of Visibility. This sparked controversy and outrage among many individuals.
This is mainly due to the fact that Easter Sunday will occur on March 31 this year. The religious holiday typically lands on a varying date each year and commemorates the revival of Jesus Christ.
Despite the fact that Joe Biden’s proclamation holds significant value, it should be acknowledged that it is primarily a ceremonial gesture. The tradition of celebrating Transgender awareness annually has been in place since 2009 and takes place every year on March 31. In addition, during his Presidency, Biden has also made proclamations about this ceremonial holiday in previous years.
Despite this, Garcia continued to criticize the decision. He had previously shared his thoughts on the decision in a post and followed up with another post stating:
“Easter Sunday is what now??? Much disrespect to Christians in the US any other day can be transgender day of visibility???? I can’t believe this? JESUS CHRIST say it USA”
