Chrisean Rock’s Ex-Best Friend Janet Calls Her “Evil” and Denies Allegations of Stealing Money

Former best friend of American rapper Chrisean Rock, Janet La Cotorra, hosted an Instagram Live on October 22, where she addressed allegations suggesting she embezzled money from Rock. Janet firmly denied any wrongdoing, asserting that she was never compensated for the hours she dedicated to working with the rapper.

In shared clips from her live session, posted by House of Blue on Instagram, Janet alleged that Rock would express anger whenever Blueface or Zeus Network sought to pay her. Additionally, she accused Rock of hindering her from pursuing new professional opportunities.

During the live broadcast, Janet remarked:

“Every time you’re in the wrong, you avoid taking responsibility. You just hide behind the Bible, saying ‘God’s gonna forgive me’…”

She urged Chrisean Rock to acknowledge her mistakes and offer an apology. Furthermore, Janet accused the rapper of pressuring her into substance abuse during their time working together, which ultimately led her to stand up for herself.

“Don’t try to persuade everyone that you’ve changed. When I first Facetimed you after your release from jail, I was uncomfortable with how you held your son, and I knew I didn’t want to continue our friendship…”

Janet expressed her disappointment, noting that Chrisean had not transformed despite being released from jail. This Instagram Live took place after Rock reportedly alleged that Janet had taken money from her.

Chrisean Rock Sentenced Earlier This Year for Drug-Related Charges

Chrisean Rock found herself in the news again after her ex-best friend claimed during an Instagram Live session that she had never stolen from the rapper. Janet went on to criticize Rock for allegedly failing to compensate her for her efforts.

Janet also discussed Rock’s behavior following her recent prison release. For context, Rock faced legal issues that led to her incarceration, with charges including possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute, as well as not having a tax stamp on the drugs.

After being released from prison in September, she posted a heartwarming video with her son, marking the occasion on Instagram. In her caption, Chrisean reminisced:

“Being with you today, just days before your birthday, is a blessing. Happy 1st birthday, September 3.”

She went on to add:

“Missing a significant milestone like a first birthday can evoke sadness or regret, but it also allows for reflection on the unwavering love and care you show every day.”

Chrisean expressed gratitude to everyone who kept her in their prayers during her time away from her child.

While Rock was incarcerated from June to September 2024, her partner, Blueface, is currently serving a four-year sentence, with a projected release in the spring of 2025.
