China has made a significant technological leap with the introduction of its pioneering 6nm gaming and AI GPUs, namely the Lisuan Tech 7G106 and 7G105. These graphics cards boast up to 24 GB of memory and deliver performance that outmatches the RTX 4060.

Now, Lisuan Tech has officially launched its inaugural graphics cards powered by this chip, including the 7G106 and the 7G105. Standout features have positioned these GPUs as formidable competitors in the gaming and AI sectors.

Specifications Overview

Starting with the consumer-focused model, the 7G106 features:

  • 12 GB of GDDR6 memory
  • 192-bit bus interface
  • PCIe 4.0 x16 compliance
  • A total of 192 texture mapping units (TMUs) and 96 render output units (ROPs)
  • Maximum thermal design power (TDP) of 225W using a single 8-pin connector

Designed with form factor efficiency in mind, the 7G106 has a triple-slot design and encompasses a unique single-fan flow-through cooling system. It offers four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, supports up to 8K @ 60Hz HDR FreeSync, and facilitates HEVC video encoding at 8K @ 60 FPS along with decoding at 30 FPS. Compatibility with modern APIs like DX12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, and OpenCL 3.0 further enhances its versatility.

Professional Performance with the 7G105 Card

In contrast, the Lisuan Tech 7G105 targets professionals and AI applications, featuring:

  • 24 GB of GDDR6 memory with Error-Correcting Code (ECC) support
  • A performance rating of 192 GP/s, 384 GT/s, and 24 TFLOPs of FP32 compute power
  • Capability to support up to 16 1080p displays at 60 FPS within virtual environments
  • Advanced security features, including data encryption and confidential computing support

Performance and Real-World Applications

Performance assessments of the 7G106 showcased its capabilities across synthetic benchmarks. For instance, in a recent 3DMark Firestrike test, it achieved an impressive score of 26, 800 points, surpassing the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060’s score of 24, 000, while being in close range to the RTX 5060’s 30, 000 points.

In addition to synthetic tests, real-world gaming was demonstrated with Black Myth: Wukong running at 4K with high settings, showcasing smooth gameplay that the company claims is playable, although specific FPS metrics were not disclosed.
