Chiefs WR Rashee Rice officially takes responsibility for major Dallas car accident that injured four
The investigation into a major car accident in Dallas involving the car of Kansas City Chiefs star Rashee Rice has been ongoing this week. According to reports, Rice’s vehicle was racing against another Lamborghini at the time of the incident, and the dashcam footage from Rice’s car quickly went viral as authorities looked into the matter.
According to a statement issued by Rice’s lawyer, Mr. Royce West of West & Associates, LLP, Rice’s thoughts are with all those affected by the accident. Reports indicate that Rice is cooperating with local authorities to take whatever measures are necessary to handle the situation.
On Wednesday, April 3rd, the wide receiver for the Chiefs released his own statement, which read:
“Today I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday’s accident. I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities.I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident”.
In addition, it has been verified that Rashee Rice’s car, a Corvette, was present at the scene. However, there is no available information about the driver during the occurrence of the accident.
According to reports, the cars were racing and this led to a six-car accident, causing injuries to four individuals who had to be hospitalized.
The security footage that was released following the accident showed several men exiting the scene, and it was reported that Rice was not among them.
