Officer Dante Torres is introduced as a guest character in season 9 and became a series regular in season 10, played by Benjamin Levy Aguilar. He connects closely with Detective Hailey Upton Halstead as her protege.

Amy Morton portrays Desk Sgt. Trudy Platt, the direct supervisor of the patrol unit at the 21st district. She brings a blend of sternness and compassion, often providing guidance to her subordinates despite her prickly exterior.
