Charlamagne Tha God Questions Diddy Hotline Credibility and Critiques Accusations: “He’s Pretty Cooked Either Way”

Sean “Diddy”Combs, the renowned rapper and music mogul, was arrested last month facing a slew of serious allegations, making headlines nationwide. In a notable development, a sexual assault hotline was launched on October 1, 2024, specifically for individuals who claim to be victims of Diddy’s alleged misconduct.

Sean is facing charges that include sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. The hotline’s introduction follows a lawsuit filed by attorney Tony Buzbee on behalf of 50 individuals who reported being abused by Sean.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Buzbee disclosed the details regarding the lawsuit, while his co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale confirmed the launch of the hotline, which victims can reach at 1-800-200-7474.

Meanwhile, Charlamagne Tha God shared his perspective on the hotline during an appearance on The Breakfast Club on October 2. He remarked:

“Here’s the thing about Diddy situation right. It no need any more sauce on it. Like it needs zero seasoning. He’s pretty cooked either way. But it is you mean to tell me a lawyer found a 120 people exactly 60 men and 60 women?”

Charlamagne further expressed his disbelief regarding the quantity of alleged victims identified by Tony Buzbee, stating:

“When you create things, when you say a 1800 did Diddy r*pe me hotline, how do you expect humans to operate in good faith with something like that like how can you go through those calls and pick who’s credible.”

He also mentioned that launching such a hotline in today’s climate may not be necessary and questioned the credibility of claims made by numerous individuals.

Additional Allegations Against Diddy Come to Light

As indicated, Tony Buzbee is representing numerous clients who allege they were subjected to abuse and sexual assault by Sean in the past. Buzbee affirmed through an Instagram post on September 27, 2024, that he has secured evidence including photographs, text messages, and videos. He stated:

“It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make sure, damn sure, we are right before we do that. These names will shock you.”

Buzbee revealed that he has been contacted by over 3,000 potential victims who are interested in filing individual lawsuits. He noted that many of these individuals hail from California, with some allegations dating back to the 1990s; notably, a segment of the alleged victims are minors.

Conversely, Sean’s attorney, Eric Wolff, issued a statement categorically denying all allegations against him, emphasizing:

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

In the interim, Diddy has requested bail on two occasions following his arrest, which the court has denied. He now has two new lawyers, Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro, who have filed a notice of intent to appeal for his release on Monday.
