Katy Perry Unveils New Album 143 at Rock in Rio Festival

On September 20, Katy Perry introduced her seventh studio album, 143, during her performance at the Palco Mundo (Main Stage) at the 2024 Rock in Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This marked her third appearance at Rock in Rio, following two editions in Brazil and one in Lisbon.

Prior to her performance, Perry engaged with some of her fans on September 18 at Cidade do Rock, allowing them to listen to her new album 143 in its entirety before its official launch during the festival.

During her set, Perry performed several of her well-loved tracks, finally revealing her album to the eager crowd. Commenting on the significance of her album’s launch at Rock in Rio, festival CEO Luis Justo stated:

After her show, Perry continued to interact with fans outside her hotel in Rio de Janeiro, serving them pizza. Expressing her love for her fans, she stated:

“We are about to deliver pizza to the fans because we love them.”

For her latest album, 143, Katy Perry collaborated with renowned partners like Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Stargate. The album features several collaborations, including tracks with JID, 21 Savage, and Doechii.
