Effective Farming Techniques for Chaliceweed

The most straightforward way to farm Chaliceweed is by harvesting Glass Algae located in the Scarlet Forest, specifically in Area 12. Follow this step-by-step procedure for optimal results:

  1. Equip gear that grants the Level 2 Geologist skill. Optionally, you may also use Forest Forager.
  2. Teleport to the Northeast Pop-up Camp in Area 12. If you haven’t set it up yet, do so now.
  3. Mount your Seikret and proceed to the hidden area behind the waterfall to the northwest of the campsite.
  4. Look to your left for water cascading between two stones (see the image below).

Utilizing Chaliceweed

Using Chaliceweed at Rove's shop

Chaliceweed is essential for trading with Rove, who can be found in Area 20 of the Iceshard Cliffs, conveniently adjacent to the Ancient Room Pop-up Camp. It’s important to note that Rove’s inventory refreshes only after a full day in the game.

Rove typically trades for Chaliceweed and Gobletweed, both acquired through harvesting Glass Algae. His shop will offer three items at any given time, selected from a pool of seven possible items, of which four require Chaliceweed for purchase:

  • Monster Broth (2)
  • Whitefish Fin (1)
  • Conga Truffle (3)
  • Blango Pelt+ (2)

In exchange for Gobletweed, you can acquire Ancient Wyvern Coins, Comaqchi Shells, and Spider Webs. Once Rove’s Item Trade is available, players can easily access his wares by speaking with Nata at base camp.
