HoYoverse has officially unveiled its exciting plans for the anniversary rewards of ZZZ 2.0. Although the offerings do not feature exclusive characters like those from the HSR birthday celebration, players can still look forward to a variety of free items to welcome the new version. Many of these rewards are linked to login events, while others can simply be claimed by accessing the game.

Exclusive Free S-Rank Agent for ZZZ 2.0 Anniversary
The ZZZ 2.0 update will launch on June 6, 2025. After the upgrade, players can log into the game to claim a complimentary S-rank agent. The available agents will include all those from version 1.0, such as:
- Ugly
- Soldier 11
- Lycaon
- Rina
- Grace
- Nekomata
Among these agents, Lycaon and Rina have remained strong picks over the past year, consistently featuring in winning team compositions, including Hugo’s optimal setup for Lycaon and Yanagi with Harumasa for Rina. However, players should consider the strategic limitations of Nekomata and Koleda, as they require specific team dynamics to be effective, which may affect their desirability. Notably, Grace has seen a decline in tier rankings; however, she can swiftly apply shock damage within Anomaly teams if that’s your focus.
Free S-Rank W-Engine during ZZZ 2.0 Anniversary
In addition to the S-rank agent, players can also select a complimentary S-rank W-Engine, a staple available in the shop that occasionally appears in stable channel banners. The selection includes:
- The Restrained (Stun, Lycaon’s signature)
- Hellfire Gears (Stun, Koleda’s signature)
- Fusion Compiler (Anomaly, Grace’s signature)
- Weeping Cradle (Support, Rina’s signature)
- Steel Cushion (Attack, Nekomata’s signature)
- The Brimstone (Attack, Soldier 11’s signature)
It’s important to note that players are eligible for both the free S-rank agent and the S-rank W-Engine simultaneously, allowing for a dual benefit with no need to choose between them.
Free Pulls during the ZZZ 2.0 Anniversary Event
Players can look forward to a generous offering of up to 30 free pulls during this anniversary event. Specifically, you can earn 20 Encrypted Master Tapes—essential items for accessing limited-time banners—by participating in various anniversary activities during the version 2.0 launch. Additionally, players will receive 1, 600 Polychrome through the in-game mailbox after the update, effectively granting another 10 pulls on any banner.
Moreover, participants can expect additional anniversary rewards, including stylish new outfits for characters Belle and Wise, some collectible Boopons, and a special anniversary-themed avatar to commemorate the occasion.
Lastly, a log-in event currently in progress until June 3 is providing players with 480 Polychrome, adding even more incentive to engage with the anniversary festivities!
