Upcoming Stream on December 10
Earlier today, a teaser from the Cyberpunk franchise surfaced on their social media platforms, announcing an upcoming stream on December 10. This event will showcase exciting new features that are part of Update 2.2 for Cyberpunk 2077.
In the announcement, the post stated:

Clarifications from the Development Team
Marcin Momot, the studio’s community director, further addressed inquiries regarding the upcoming update, confirming that neither PlayStation 5 Pro support nor New Game+ will be included in Patch 2.2. In his words:
A lot of questions about whether PS5 Pro support and NG+ are coming with Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.2. The answer is no. We do have some other cool stuff in the oven and we’ll talk about it tomorrow during the stream—we hope you’ll like it too! Appreciate the patience🙏

Cyberpunk 2077’s Success and Future Prospects
The recent success of Cyberpunk 2077 is notable, achieving over 30 million copies sold since its launch in early 2024. Furthermore, the game’s sole spy-thriller expansion, Phantom Liberty, has impressively sold eight million copies in just over a year. Looking ahead, a version for Mac is set to be released in 2025.
Just two weeks ago, CD Projekt disclosed that the eagerly anticipated next-gen Witcher trilogy, known as Polaris, is now in full production with a whopping 400 staff members involved. Meanwhile, efforts are underway for a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, with a dedicated team of 64 developers, while the Witcher spin-off developed by Molasses Flood includes 42 staff members. Additionally, 18 talented individuals are currently working on a new, enigmatic intellectual property.

Joint CEO Michał Nowakowski expressed pride in the Polaris team’s progress, confirming that they recently completed pre-production and entered the rigorous full-scale production phase. He praised the team for their commitment to advancing the project:
