His contributions to Beck’s Morning Phase (2015) received widespread acclaim, earning him multiple Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical), and Best Rock Album.

At the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019, Cole won both Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical) and Best Alternative Music Album for Colors, Beck’s thirteenth studio album.
