Cardi B has announced her unfortunate withdrawal from the upcoming ONE MusicFest in Atlanta, scheduled for Saturday, October 26. On October 23, she took to Instagram to relay this health and concert news, expressing her disappointment:
“I am heartbroken to share this news, but after spending the last few days in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency, I am unable to perform at ONE MusicFest. It truly pains me not to connect with my fans this weekend, and I genuinely wish I could be there.”
She reached out to her dedicated followers, Bardi Gang, expressing her gratitude for their understanding. Cardi reassured them that she would “return better and stronger soon”and encouraged everyone not to worry about her condition.
While the exact details of her medical emergency remain undisclosed, it is noteworthy that Cardi B was meant to serve as a primary headline act at ONE MusicFest’s first night at Piedmont Park in Atlanta.
This year’s festival marks its 15th anniversary, featuring a star-studded lineup, including other headlining acts like Earth, Wind & Fire and Nelly on Saturday. The event will also showcase talents such as Redman, Fantasia, and more. On Sunday, attendees can look forward to performances by Jill Scott, Victoria Monet, Gunna, along with artists like Sexxy Red, Keyshia Cole, and GloRilla.
Cardi B’s Cancellation Follows Intense X Rant About Estranged Husband Offset
Prior to revealing her hospital stay and subsequent cancellation of her Atlanta performance, Cardi B made headlines on X for a fiery rant regarding her estranged husband, Offset.
Although she eventually deleted her posts, the explicit commentary attracted considerable online attention. On the evening of October 22, Cardi unleashed a barrage of insults aimed at her ex-spouse, expressing her disdain.
“Bro, I wish the worst on this man… I have never hated anyone this much, and these women are so eager to have him; please take him off my hands. This garbage bag is too heavy!”
In her initial tweet, she refrained from naming anyone. However, she clarified her target in a subsequent reply, addressing a fan’s comment about him being the father of her children:
“Yes, he is, which is why I don’t wish him death… but I genuinely despise this dirty narcissistic piece of trash… His family and friends never check him, which is why he’s always going to be a terrible person.”
Furthermore, Cardi defended Offset against accusations from fans who claimed he orchestrated a call to Child Protective Services at her home. Earlier that day, she had called out an anonymous prankster who supposedly alerted CPS, stating that such pranks had become excessive.
This rant on X occurs amid the rapper’s ongoing divorce from Offset after a seven-year marriage. Reports stated that she filed for divorce on August 1, only for Cardi to announce her pregnancy with their third child just hours later, writing, “With every ending comes a new beginning!”
Cardi has since confirmed the birth of their third child on September 12 via social media, with reports indicating Offset was present during the delivery.
