Canker’s Camp Location in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Upon completing the Wedding Crashers quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players unlock a new mission where they aid Lord Semine. He has hired Guiles, a well-known bandit, with the task of dismantling his former crew.

The primary target of this quest is a notorious bandit known as Canker. To locate him and his gang, adventurers must explore the neighboring mountains in search of their camp. Below is a guide detailing how to find Canker’s Camp, along with effective tactics for confronting these bandits.

Where Is Canker’s Camp In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?

Canker’s Camp is situated within the dense Nevakov’s mountain forest, characterized by its rugged terrain, which provides an ideal setting for bandit ambushes. Upon reaching this area, players should head north along the main road, where they will soon encounter an ambush led by bandits, including one disguised as a priest pretending to be a beggar.

Continuing north along the stream will eventually lead to Canker’s Camp appearing before Henry. Expect to face at least six bandits at this location, so it’s important to prepare for an intense confrontation.

How To Defeat Canker And His Gang In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Confronting Canker and his band is no easy feat; players must proceed with caution to avoid being quickly overwhelmed. The initial encounter occurs just after fast traveling to the quest’s location, where a group of six bandits will ambush Henry.

During this skirmish, it’s advisable for Henry to utilize his companion Mutt to divert the attention of a couple of enemies, allowing for quick eliminations of the less armored foes. Bandits wearing light armor can typically be dispatched in just one or two strikes.

An effective strategy involves applying Bane Poison (which requires 1x Wormwood, 2x Belladonna, and 1x Amanita Muscaria) to Henry’s weapon. This tactic allows players to take out enemies before they even notice the threat. Additionally, poisoning arrows and targeting bandits hiding at the road’s edges can weaken the ambushers significantly.

However, players should be cautious when using ranged attacks; if the bandits perceive Henry shooting, they will rush him, making weapon switching risky when surrounded.

After dealing with the initial ambush, attacking Canker’s Camp presents an additional layer of difficulty. Players will face two heavily armored adversaries, three archers, and two lighter fighters, including Canker, who wields a hunting sword and mace.

For a stealthier approach, players might opt to circle the camp’s perimeter until after midnight. They can then sneak in to eliminate guards, poison food or drink, and wait for the effects to take hold. Alternatively, for those favoring a more direct confrontation, enlisting Mutt’s aid can facilitate a fair fight.

Equipping a Polearm or a heavy weapon like a Longsword is advantageous, enabling players to manage multiple enemies while using the environment for strategic positioning.

After successfully defeating Canker and his gang, players can loot the camp for valuable items that can be sold for additional Groschen. Don’t forget to collect Canker’s Mace as a trophy to demonstrate your victory.

As the mace may be hidden beneath bandit corpses, players should sift through the fallen enemies to locate it.

Finally, return to Semine Keep to report back to Guiles, where players will receive a reward of 175 Groschen along with a significant reputation boost. While there is an option to persuade Guiles to let players keep the mace, remember it is merely a standard heavy mace readily available from blacksmiths and lacks unique attributes.
