To navigate the dynamic landscapes while engaging in combat, the developers are reintroducing a refined version of Omnimovement. This feature includes a new ability for wall jumps, allowing players to leap between vertical surfaces, thus facilitating higher ground access or chaining long parkour routes seamlessly. Players can now connect up to three wall jumps to enhance their momentum-based movement.

Notably, the Tactical Sprint has been removed from the standard movement options but can be equipped as an optional perk for those who favor it. Additionally, a new Body Shield mechanic has been integrated, enabling players to advance a captured body, complete with an attached grenade, to surprise unsuspecting foes.

On the weapon front, Black Ops 7 will feature an impressive lineup of 30 weapons at launch, with 16 of them being entirely new to the franchise. This arsenal encompasses a wide range of categories including assault rifles, submachine guns (SMGs), shotguns, light machine guns (LMGs), marksman rifles, sniper rifles, pistols, launchers, and melee weapons.

The comprehensive multiplayer details revealed by Treyarch and Raven Software today can be explored further in their in-depth breakdown, which outlines each map, weapon, scorestreak, level progression, loadout options, and much more.

Leading up to the official launch, a beta will commence on October 2 for players who pre-order any version of Black Ops 7 or are subscribers to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. From October 5 to October 8, the beta will be open to all players free of charge.
