This extension is a direct response to enthusiastic fan feedback.

New End Date for the Open Beta

Thanks to this update, the open beta will now conclude on Thursday, October 9, at 9 AM PT. Treyarch emphasized that the extended timeframe was implemented to accommodate players’ requests for more time to test and enjoy the game.

Developer Insights

The excitement surrounding the Black Ops 7 Beta has not gone unnoticed by developers. In a recent blog post, the Treyarch team expressed their gratitude:

“The reaction to the Black Ops 7 Beta so far has been awesome to see. Whether you’re calling in Nukes in Multiplayer or going for high rounds in Zombies Survival, there’s plenty to jump into, and we’ve had a ton of fun playing alongside everyone. On behalf of all of us at Treyarch, we’re truly grateful for your feedback so far.”

New Map and Enhanced Gameplay Experience

In addition to the extended playtime, today marks the introduction of a brand new multiplayer map named Toshin. This vibrant 6v6 battleground, located in a bustling Japanese shopping district, features illuminated advertisements and various urban environments. Treyarch described the map as:

“Explore the park and market streets around the wreckage and fight through the transit station in a tightknit urban layout that rewards exploration and quick thinking.”

Optimized Multiplayer Features

With the addition of Toshin, players can now enjoy a total of six exhilarating multiplayer maps during the open beta. For those eager to tackle the zombie mode, Vandorn Farm remains the sole Zombie experience available. To further enrich gameplay, Treyarch has decided to continue offering 2XP and 2X Weapon XP benefits throughout the beta. This initiative encourages players to reach level 30 and experiment with the vast array of weapons, attachments, gear, and overclocks the game has to offer.
