Anticipated Military Discharge of BTS’ Taehyung in June 2025

Kim Taehyung officially began his military service on December 11, 2023, enlisting alongside his fellow band member RM, also known as Namjoon. Taehyung is expected to complete his compulsory military duties by June 2025, when the entire group aims to reunite. Other BTS members are likely to conclude their military service in the coming year, returning in the latter half of 2025.

On January 16, both BTS’ V and RM were distinguished as two of the six ‘elite trainees’ at the ’27th Recruit Training Regiment’ among 200 trainees, receiving recognition for their exceptional performance throughout the five-week training session.

In other news, BTS’ j-hope concluded his military service on October 17, 2024, having been enlisted on April 18, 2023. Additionally, Jin, or Kim Seokjin, was the inaugural BTS member to fulfill his military obligations, finishing on June 12, 2024.

Currently, Namjoon, Taehyung, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook are actively serving their time in the military.
