Members of BTS, including RM, j-hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, are trending on social media due to their reported entries for the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards nominations. On October 4, the Grammy Guru on X revealed an exclusive list of music submissions that were sent to The Recording Academy for consideration in the Grammy nominations.
BTS members RM, j-hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, along with renowned artists such as Post Malone, SZA, Camila Cabello, Tyla, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry, have put forth their solo tracks released from September 16, 2023, to August 30, 2024.
The nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards will be announced on Friday, November 8, 2024, with the awards ceremony scheduled for Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

RM, the leader of BTS, released his second album, Right Place, Wrong Person, in May 2024, receiving acclaim from fans and critics alike. Six tracks from the album ranked on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart. RM has put forth Right Place, Wrong Person for the Album of the Year and Rap Album categories for the 2025 Grammy Awards.
j-hope released his solo documentary, titled HOPE ON THE STREET, in March 2024, depicting his experiences as a street dancer in cities like Osaka, New York, Gwangju, Seoul, and Paris. He also released an OST album named HOPE ON STREET VOL. 1, featuring collaborations with Jungkook, LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin, Gaeko, YOON MIRAE, and several others, which he submitted for the Album of the Year and Pop Vocal Album categories for the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Jimin also launched his second album, MUSE, featuring the title track Who on July 19, 2024. Comprised of seven tracks, five were co-written and composed by Jimin himself. MUSE surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, making Jimin the first K-pop solo artist to achieve this remarkable goal with two albums. Jimin submitted MUSE for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for the 2025 Grammy nominations.
BTS’ V made his solo debut on September 8, 2023, with his album Layover, featuring the lead single Slow Dancing. He later released an English single, FRI(END)S, on March 15, 2024. V has entered his song FRI(END)S for three Grammy nomination categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Pop Solo Performance.
The youngest member, Jungkook, launched his first solo album, GOLDEN, in November 2023, collaborating with stars like Latto, Jack Harlow, Major Lazer, and DJ Snake. He has submitted GOLDEN for the Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album categories.
Currently, RM, j-hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook of BTS are serving in the military. j-hope is expected to be discharged in October 2024, while the remaining members are anticipated to complete their service in 2025.
