On October 28, 2024, BigHit Music shared exciting news for fans of BTS’ Jin, revealing that his new pre-release single, “I’ll Be There,”is now available on various audio streaming platforms, including Pandora Music and playlists on Amazon Music. The announcement was accompanied by a photoshoot featuring Jin in various poses.
For those who may not know, Jin released “I’ll Be There”on October 25, 2024, alongside a music video on the BANGTAN TV YouTube channel. This track is a part of his upcoming album entitled “Happy.”The single includes contributions from accomplished songwriters like MAX, Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, EVAN, Martin, Jo Yoon-kyung, and Masarov.
Jin’s “I’ll Be There”Claims Top Spot on iTunes in Over 73 Countries
“I’ll Be There”achieved remarkable success, reaching the No.1 spot on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in more than seventy-three countries. It performed exceptionally well in various regions, including Argentina, Armenia, Bolivia, Brazil, Cape Verde, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Guatemala, Hong Kong, and India.
This Pop Rock anthem held the top position on both the Worldwide and European iTunes Songs Charts for three consecutive days, and it reached No.2 on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in the United States. Furthermore, the music video garnered significant attention, trending on YouTube for three days and accumulating over 9.5 million views along with 1.5 million likes.
According to the World Music Awards, “I’ll Be There”not only maintained its dominance in the domestic charts, but it also surpassed 40,000 Shazams and debuted at No.30 on the UK Official Big Top 40 Charts. Additionally, it made an appearance on Genius Korea’s Daily K-Rock Chart, where it claimed the No.1 spot.
The music video achieved the No.1 position on the iTunes US Music Video chart upon its release. Jin also celebrated a record-breaking streaming day, exceeding 11,629,000 streams. He made history with the biggest solo debut on Global Spotify with this track, clocking over 4,692,000 filtered streams within the first 24 hours, landing at the No.9 spot.
Moreover, “I’ll Be There”made it into the Top 5 on the Amazon Digital Songs Chart, featuring in categories such as International Best Sellers, International New Releases, Song New Releases, and Songs Best Sellers. In Japan, it hit the Daily Oricon Singles Chart, garnering 4,995 downloads, and debuted at No.23 on Line Music Daily Chart.
In addition to this, Jin also released an extended version of “Super Tuna”on October 11, 2024, through BigHit Music. Recently, he was named the global brand ambassador for several luxury brands, including Laneige, Gucci, Alo Yoga, and Fred.
Looking ahead, BTS’ Jin is set to unveil his highly anticipated first mini-album titled “Happy”on November 15, 2024, via BigHit Music.
