Anticipating White Christmas: A Unique Collaboration
According to Billboard, the White Christmas collaboration stems from a partnership between the Bing Crosby Estate, Geffen Records, and Primary Wave Music. This track is set to be the first new release associated with Bing Crosby in 47 years, following the 1997 release of Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy.
Taehyung, who has expressed immense gratitude for this opportunity, shared, “I grew up listening to his song ‘It’s Been a Long, Long Time’ countless times a day, and I feel incredibly fortunate and honored to have sung along on ‘White Christmas’ with the voice of someone I consider an idol.”
As of now, Taehyung is fulfilling his mandatory military service as a member of the military police unit, with his discharge anticipated in 2025. Fans can look forward to the highly awaited White Christmas release on December 6, 2024, at 2 PM KST.
